Mickie James suffered broken nose during recent match

Mickie James is currently out of action after suffering a broken nose.
On the latest episode of her GAW TV with SoCal Val and Lisa Marie Varon (formerly known as Victoria in WWE), James revealed that she recently broke her nose during a match. James said she can't wrestle for a couple of weeks due to the injury.
"It wasn’t like my nose was blasted across my face. It was more like a curve and I can’t breathe out the one side. And I’ll be honest, I thought it was gonna be a lot more painful [to get it fixed]. It was more like pressure," James said about the injury.
James' most recent match was against Zelina Vega on the September 21 episode of Raw. Vega defeated James and went on to unsuccessfully challenge for Asuka's Raw Women's Championship at Clash of Champions.
James returned to WWE television this August after suffering a torn ACL in June 2019. She's been feuding with Natalya and Lana. James also unsuccessfully challenged for Asuka's Raw Women's Championship on the September 14 episode of Raw. That match had an awkward stoppage finish.
