Mickie James Might Have Been Injured During RAW
Posted: Sep 15th 2020 By: Chris Deez - Bodyslam.net
Injuries can happen at any time in professional wrestling as competitors put their bodies on the line for the enjoyment of the fans. It seems something went awry during the RAW Women’s Title match on RAW this week.
Mickie James challenged Asuka for the RAW Women’s Title on RAW. During the match, the referee suddenly called for the bell, bringing the match to an end. Fans were certainly puzzled at this outcome. The announcer was then instructed to reveal that Mickie James was no longer able to continue the match.

It seems James suffered an injury during the match. WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley took to Twitter to let fans know that he heard that she suffered a shoulder injury. This would explain the awkward ending for the match.
It is certainly unfortunate the title match ended the way it did. We hope the injury is not severe and will keep you updated on her condition.

I’m hearing that @MickieJames may have injured her shoulder in tonight’s #Raw match - which would explain the quick ending to the match.
If true, I’m wishing Mickie a quick and complete recovery...and hoping she gets another shot at the title.

Hope @MickieJames is okay. I think the ref said her shoulder popped out. #RAW
