ACH return bout announced for NJPW Strong, Alex Coughlin injured

New Japan Pro Wrestling announced matches for this Friday’s Strong event while also announcing an injury.
The company announced this evening that Alex Coughlin has suffered a neck injury and as a result will not be competing in upcoming Strong events.
Coughlin last competed during the Lion’s Break Collision tapings in June.
Matches were also announced for this Friday's New Japan Strong. In a six-man tag team match, TJP, ACH, and Alex Zayne will face PJ Black, Misterioso, and Blake Christian. This will be the first time ACH has wrestled for NJPW since 2018, working Lion’s Break Project 1.
In a tag team match, Clark Connors and Jordan Clearwater will face Logan Riegel and Barrett Brown..
The two semifinal matches in the NJPW Cup USA tournament will also take place on this card. KENTA will face Jeff Cobb, while David Finlay will face Tama Tonga. The winners of these two matches will face off in the finals on August 21.
