Jeff Jarrett Going To Trial With IMPACT Wrestling Following Failed Settlement
Posted: May 29th 2020 By: Joey G. - WrestlingHeadlines.com
The saga between WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett and IMPACT Wrestling continues to wage on.
A Tennessee judge has set a trial date for the two parties following a court-ordered mediation that failed to result in a settlement. Jarrett filed a lawsuit against the promotion’s parent company Anthem Media back in 2017 for using his Global Force Wrestling Amped shows without permission. This all occurred shortly after Jarrett departed from the company. They have since removed the Amped show recordings.
The court states, “Trial date is realistic notwithstanding COVID-19, and the parties shall anticipate going forward on that date.”
Jarrett has since returned to WWE and been working as a member of the creative team.
