WFC suspends all live events; WFC Prime to be aired on internet without live audience
Posted: Mar 16th 2020 By: Wrestling For a Cause
For Immediate Release:
TULSA, OK – Wrestling for a Cause has always been committed to entertaining our fans, just as we have been committed to the fight against childhood cancer. Obviously, we take the health and safety of our fans, our wrestlers, and all of our staff of volunteers very seriously.
In light of the effect of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and the recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), we are canceling this Saturday’s event – March With Us - and suspending all of our live events until further notice.
If you purchased a ticket to March With Us, you will be issued a refund.
This is our commitment to your health and safety.
There will be a show Saturday.
We will film an episode of WFC Prime, with no fans in attendance. Our wrestlers want to entertain you in this trying time, and they are committed to that goal, regardless of the venue or the format, and we will give you the best TV show we can produce under these circumstances.
If you would like to watch this broadcast of WFC Prime, it will be streamed live via a private link. To access this link, you can send $5 to donate @wfccharity.com and leave your email address and we will send you the link so you can view this special production of WFC Prime.
WFC wouldn’t exist without the support of its fans. Please stay safe and health conscious during this time, and we cannot wait to see you live and in the front row of the Wrestle Center when health conditions improve.
