Tom Lawlor vs. Von Erich family member set for MLW Opera Cup

Tom Lawlor vs. Von Erich family member set for MLW Opera Cup

Posted: Dec 3rd 2019 By: Joseph Currier

MLW is hyping that Tom Lawlor will be facing a member of the Von Erich family in an exhibition match at this week's Opera Cup tapings.

In storyline, Lawlor requested the match and is saying that his opponent is set. MLW wrote that both Ross and Marshall Von Erich "are baffled by the announcement claiming they haven’t been approached about such a bout."

Lawlor, who has signed a multi-year deal to stay with MLW, turned against the Von Erichs by hitting Ross with a steel chair and causing him to lose a title match to World Heavyweight Champion Jacob Fatu on MLW Fusion's Thanksgiving special. Lawlor said "F*ck CONTRA" and "F*ck the Von Erichs" after hitting Ross with the chair.

The Opera Cup tapings are taking place at the Melrose Ballroom in Queens, New York this Thursday. The updated card is listed below:
