This is from office of Harley Race and World League Wrestling -
It has been tough dealing with the fact that the man that was always viewed as "immortal" isn't here anymore.
To see the immense amount of support from friends and fans, and to see the amount of people he had left an impression on is unbelievable. People literally from all over the world has shown their love for Harley Race and that goes to show just how good he was. Not just in the ring, but in life. He taught many things. However, if you paid attention and read between the lines, he taught how to carry yourself and treat other individuals. He gave respect and earned it all within the same breathe. He was a man amongst men and the true definition of a champion.
His love for professional wrestling gained him a level of respect that is untouchable. The championships, awards, and notoriety only solidified that fact. Ric Flair said it best - he was the REAL World’s Heavyweight Champion. He loved his family and friends, he loved the wrestlers, and he loved the fans. He said it best - He wants to be remembered as being a fan of all of you. If it was not for you, around the world, none of this would be happening for Harley Race or anyone else involved in it. This whole business revolves the fan.
The memories that he created and his legacy in this industry of professional wrestling will continue to live on forever through you and his company - World League Wrestling.
To everyone around the world - THANK YOU
