Former WWE Superstar Trevor Murdoch, who was very close to Hall of Famer Harley Race, wrote in a public post on Facebook that Vince McMahon and WWE helped Harley Race to the very end. “I just wanted to put this out there. Harley needed to be transferred from Atlanta to St. Louis. He needed to take a Med flight because he was in rough shape. Medicare wouldn’t help him,” Murdoch wrote. “A call was made to WWE and 10 mins later it was paid in full. Vince McMahon never blinked an eye. He wanted to make sure Harley was taken care of,” he continued. Murdoch thanked Vince for allowing him spend two more days with Harley because without his payment for the flight, things would have ended sooner. He ended the message with the hash tag #EveryoneShouldKnow about what McMahon did.

NJPW held a memorial ceremony for Harley Race prior to today's G1 show.

Dee Snider, lead singer for Twisted Sister, recently tweeted about an experience with Harley Race: “I had the honor of sitting next to Harley for an entire flight from The U.S. to Japan in 1984. We talked the entire way there, comparing life notes and experiences. He was a real gentleman...and had more people waiting for him at the airport than I did.”

2K Monday announced Becky Lynch and roman Reigns as the cover Superstars for WWE 2K20. Lynch and Reigns will serve as ambassadors for WWE 2K20’s worldwide marketing campaign - "Step Inside" - which invites players to enter the world of WWE and face a variety of new and exciting challenges in the virtual ring. WWE 2K20 is currently scheduled for worldwide release on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and the Xbox One family of devices, including the Xbox One X and Windows PC. Players who purchase the WWE 2K20 Deluxe Edition or Collector’s Edition will receive in-game bonuses, including playable Superstars Chyna, Hulk Hogan, Mankind and The Rock, in addition to the Standard Edition game. “My career has been about breaking barriers and doing what nobody else has done before. Being the first female Superstar on the cover of a WWE 2K video game is no exception,” said Becky Lynch. “As a gamer myself, being on the cover of WWE 2K20 alongside ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch and joining the likes of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and John Cena is a huge career and personal milestone for me,” said Roman Reigns. “Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns embody passion, determination and perseverance, and they’re both major game changers within the larger WWE landscape,” said Chris Snyder, Vice President of Marketing for 2K. “They are the spirit of WWE 2K20, which is going to introduce changes requested by our fans. They asked for female-driven MyCAREER and 2K Showcase offerings, and we’re giving them just that, as well as streamlined controls and our brand new WWE 2K20 Originals. We can’t wait to reveal more details soon.”

With just days to go, it’s finally official: Dolph Ziggler’s next! Monday night on Raw, the planned Ziggler vs Miz match at SummerSlam was scrapped and instead it will happen on the post-SummerSlam Raw. The main event of the show was a Miz TV segment where acontract signing between both Superstars was supposed to take place. After Dolph signed his end of the deal, Miz informed Ziggler that the two of them will not be wrestling on that day, but rather the next day. HBK, who was also part of the segment, took the mic and said, “Well, Dolph, it’s not me!” And then Goldberg’s theme song hit. Miz and HBK left the ring as Dolph was ready to fight but as soon as Goldberg entered, Dolph bailed. Goldberg, who received a big pop from the crowd, signed the contract and told Ziggler that he’s next. Dolph backed up the entrance ramp but it wasn’t over for him just yet as HBK came out again and hit him with the Sweet Chin Music. This will be Goldberg’s first match since his disastrous one with The Undertaker at the Super ShowDown show from Saudi Arabia where he knocked himself out.
