Von Erichs vs. Contra 'unsanctioned match' set for MLW TV tapings

The Von Erichs and Contra Unit are set to face off in an "unsanctioned match" at July's MLW television tapings in Cicero, Illinois.

MLW has announced Ross & Marshall Von Erich vs. Contra Unit (Josef Samael & Simon Gotch) in an unsanctioned match for the tapings, which are being called "Kings of Colosseum" and will take place at Cicero Stadium on Saturday, July 6.

After it was announced in May that they had signed with the promotion, Ross & Marshall made their MLW debuts by teaming with World Heavyweight Champion Tom Lawlor and defeating Contra Unit (Jacob Fatu, Samael & Gotch) in a tornado tag match at this month's tapings in Waukesha, Wisconsin. That match will air on this Saturday's episode of MLW Fusion.

Lawlor will defend his MLW World title against Fatu at Kings of Colosseum. Dr. Wagner Jr. & El Hijo de Wagner Jr. vs. LA Park & El Hijo de LA Park has also been confirmed for the show.
