Michaels vs. O'Malley: the feud that might cost both men their careers

MSWA Mid-South Champion Brad Michaels and IZW Impact Division Champion John O'Malley, two men, both former friends but now bitter enemies. Both men are synonymous with Oklahoma professional wrestling, but it is both men's primary goal in life to see that one of them doesn't survive their feud which is burning through IZW. Both men have struck their opponent where it matters most, be it in each others matches or in promos that are lined with some of the most vile words ever uttered in IZW and, to be honest with you, in all of Professional Wrestling.

Both men have history that stretches as far back as when John O'Malley entered the business in 2001, but no one truly knows when their relationship went sour. What is known is that the current events started in IZW back on July 28th when O'Malley defeated Michaels for a title shot for Michaels' precious title the following week. In the match that followed on August 4th, Michaels retained his title due to a unfair Disqualification by the referee in the match, Thomas Patrick, who would later pay with a fist to the face by the irate Irishman!

The unfair DQ on August 4th has brought on interference by John O'Malley in almost every match Brad Michaels has had since.

On August 11th, Big John cost "Bad" Brad his title to Nathan Sensation. It was the first strike of revenge by the "Irish Phenom". The next week, August 18th, it looked as if Big John O'Malley had finally gained full revenge by winning the title from Nathan Sensation that he had been chasing from Brad Michaels. But due to "Bad" Brad's connections he was given back his precious title thanks to a loop hole found by the ever professional Johnny Z. The next week August 25th, Big John O'Malley got a bit of revenge by costing Michaels a tag match with his partner Bernie Donderwitz against Trailer Park Trash (J. C. And K. C.), but all this did was earn Michaels and Donderwitz interference in O'Malley's match against Johnny Z later that night that was made into the 3 .vs. 3 main event in which Michaels picked up the win for Impact, Inc. while Big John O'Malley was down and out on the outside.

So this previous Saturday, the first of September, it seemed that maybe--just maybe--this violent feud would come to an end, but after a brutal match that saw both men beat each other within a inch of their lives, neither man was able to get their hand raised because the ref stuck his nose in a little too far. A double disqualification was brought down on both men after Thomas Patrick got struck 3 times for his troubles while trying to break up a exchange of brutal punches.

As of tonight the feud of "Bad" Brad Michaels against "Irish Phenom" Big John O'Malley has a record of 1 win for Michaels due to DQ, 1 win to O'Malley, and 1 Draw due to Double Disqualification. But that's just in single matches taking place this year, you can see that the actions taken by both men cannot be explained in mere statistics or, to be honest with you, in these words because this feud isn't just for pride, but it's for vengeance, and it's for hatred. These two men will not stop fighting until one's hand is raised in victory in a brutal match that will take each other to the physical brink. Whatever match that is there will surely be bodies broken, maybe even careers destroyed, because no matter what, it will not stop until one of them is beaten so bad he is broken down...or worse!
