The Impact Report

The Impact Report

Posted: Aug 29th 2007 By: IZW Staff

Once again IZW proved that they are the best professional wrestling in Oklahoma by putting on a show that cannot be matched anywhere. Steve O was the MC for the evening as he came out to make sure the crowd knew that "Every Saturday night" IZW puts on the hottest action in the OKC and after over going the rules, Steve O was ready to begin before a message from the back stopped his dialogue. We were then shown a video it was MSWA Mid-South Champion Bad Brad Michaels and Bernie Donderwitz of Impact, Inc. coming up on the tag team of Trailer Park Trash, J. C. and K. C. In a not so friendly welcome to the team of TPT, Michaels went on a rant on how people like J.C. and K.C. didn't belong in IZW, and because John Zorthos wasn't anywhere to be found then the heart of Impact Inc, would make a match. Trailer Park Trash, consisting of JC and KC, taking on Impact, Inc. consisting of "Bad" Brad Michaels and Bernie Donderwitz.
So after the video finished airing, Steve O got the ball rolling and announced the first match of the night. Thomas Rumsfeld, who was being accompanied by Marianne Albright, decided that he had a few words to say and proceeded to take the microphone. Announcing to the crowd that the IZW Champion Michael Barry would not be there tonight because he was afraid of what Rumsfeld would do to him, so that what happens next in his match he was not responsible for. It was Michael Barry's fault. Out came Rumsfeld's opponents Nathan Sensation and Damon Winzor. Rumsfeld would be competing in a Handicap match which would test the large man to an extreme. It was the taller Damon Winzor who started out the match against Rumsfeld, until he felt that Rumsfeld wasn't worth a tie-up so he tagged out to his partner Nathan Sensation who was taken by surprise but got in the ring and even though gave up both size and strength to Thomas went on to tie-up with the larger Rumsfeld who proceeded to toss him back like a rag doll. Nathan would not stay down as he proceeded to duck under a massive clothesline following it up with a series of strikes, 2 clotheslines, and finishing it up and taking Rumsfeld off his feet with a huge spinning wheel kick. Seeing his advantage Sensation scaled the turnbuckles, but Thomas was right behind him, after Nathan launched himself for a cross body, Rumsfeld just caught him like a child, maneuvering him into position for a huge Emerald Fusion slam. Somehow Nathan made it to his corner and was able to tag in Damon, who came in with force proceeding to unload a huge body slam and then a vertical suplex on the shocked Rumsfeld who was not expecting to be overpowered but instead of taking advantage of a downed Rumsfeld, Winzor tagged in Sensation? After Nathan Sensation came in he showed that fire and tenacity by trying to take the angry behemoth off his feet, hitting 3 consecutive clotheslines but on the 4th try, Thomas Rumsfeld unleashed not one but two huge slams one that was a variant on the black hole slam. Rumsfeld signaled for the end and proceeded to unleash a "When the Bowe Breaks" his new move that he laid out Michael Barry with the previous week, the move put Nathan Sensation out of commission and with Damon Winzor not breaking up the tag, Thomas Rumsfeld got the 1-2-3 which sent a message to the absent Michael Barry that he was coming for his title sooner than later.

The following match that was announced was the tag team challenge put out by Impact, Inc. vs . TPT. Out came Bernie D and "Bad" Brad Michaels who were ready to take on the explosive duo of J. C, and K. C. who came out to a thunderous reaction when "Comin to your city" by Big and Rich blared over the sound system. The crowd was fully behind TPT, but this didn't faze Brad Michaels who started the match out with a little bit of stretching before wrestling against the twin who's name is J. C. for Trailer Park Trash. After an overpowering by Michaels, J. C. tagged in K. C. who came out with a dropkick that Michaels was not expecting right out of the box, but that one dropkick was nothing compared to what Michaels began to unload on K. C., a clinic of a hammerlock, headlock, an finally an arm wringer showed that the so called Heart of Impact, Inc. would come out victorious but after throwing over K. C. with the arm wringer still latched on, Michaels went for a leg drop that missed its target, not being discouraged Michaels proceed to unload a body slam on the lighter opponent then again he missed a big move by whiffing on an elbow drop. This is all that took K. C. to make it to his corner to tag in J. C. and they started to show why they're considered one of the top tag teams in Oklahoma as they proceeded to take out Michaels with a launching body press onto Brad who was waiting in the corner, this brought in Bernie Donderwitz who was taken off his feet with an Enziguri by K. C. followed up by the team's special where J. C, wheelbarrow-lifts K. C. onto the prone opponent, in this case Bernie D, who took the body splash part of the move. J. C. and K. C. had finally gotten the crowd on their side as they had shown what they could do with their abilities, but Impact, Inc. fought back against Trailer Park Trash as Bernie D unloaded on K. C. a huge clothesline, after putting so much into that decapitating move he tagged in Michaels who proceeded to lay in 3 knee drops that where right on the mark. After a bit of knee work, Michaels tagged in the rested Bernie D who showed off a impressive repertoire of moves on the already hurting K. C.: a massive body slam followed by a giant knee drop that K. C. had to be hurting from and after a quick snap mare, which allowed Bernie D to tag Brad Michaels into the match to lock in a choke with K. C.'s very own bandana. After getting a warning from the ref, Michaels let go of the choke working K. C. up to his feet he hit a nasty snap mare followed by a stiff hitting dropkick. K. C. was hurting but no matter what moves he was being hit with ? of TPT would not stay down, even after a couple of William Regal inspired knees it was back to a choke hold for Brad Michaels wearing down K. C. one way or another. After another series of warnings by the ref, it was back to the beat down on K. C. Brad Michaels unloaded a swinging neck breaker followed up by a massive high knee that took K. C. off his feet at least an inch or two. Feeling that he had his fill for the moment, Brad Michaels tagged in Bernie D who was itching for a beat down, unloading a 2nd Rope Elbow drop on the prone and beaten K. C., seeing his opening and feeling that all it took was a clothesline to KO K. C. for the victory. Bernie D went full force with a clothesline but it missed, K. C. had ducked and proceeded to hit a sunset flip but it wasn't enough as Bernie D proceeded to stumble into a tag to Brad who came in with a vengeance as he proceeded to again choke K. C. who had enough and some how got himself free of the chokeholds and was able to hit a desperate clothesline, crawling to his corner he was finally able to tag in a fully rested, ready to go, J. C. but the ref Thomas Patrick was not able to see the tag while he was dealing with Impact, Inc., so K. C. had to fight off Bernie D to get another opening to J. C., all seemed in reach as KC proceed to unleash a big boot and an elbow shot out of the corner after being whipped into the corner by Bernie, but coming out of the corner with full steam was the wrong thing to do as Donderwitz unloaded a power slam that shook the entire ring. Tagging in Michaels to do the dirty deed for the 1-2-3, Donderwitz went to the apron to rest, while Michaels attempted a big body splash that missed. This was the opening that K. C. needed and he proceeded to unload a spinning wheel kick to finally give him the opening to make the all important tag to JC who proceeded to unload his furious built up frustration with a line of dropkicks and flying elbows. K. C. saw his opening climbing to the turnbuckle to come off the top with a flying cross body to which Donderwitz caught and hit a impressive snake eyes but was taken off his feet and Ko'd by "Irish Phenom" Big John O'Malley who ran into the match and unloaded a title shot with the IZW Impact Division title which left Brad Michaels open to TPT to hit a tandem Samoan Drop/Neck breaker finisher for the 1-2-3.

Steve O informed us that next week the IZW Heavyweight Champion Michael Barry, the IZW Tag Team champions Team Shenanigans and Mitch W. Carter all would be back in the Impact Arena. Plus there would be information on the future of the vacant Cruiserweight title, and after thinking the sponsors of IZW including Senora's Mexican Caf?, we were then rushed to the back with a video streaming on the ZorthoTron420 of Nathan Sensation and Damon Winzor arguing in the back, Damon was running down the sore Sensation on how he had cost their team the win. Even though it wasn't fully his fault Nathan accepted that he had lost the match. As Nathan Sensation walked away, Damon Winzor proceeded to beat down Nathan Sensation by throwing him up against the back stage's wall finishing up with Damon yelling "Get a new pair of tights"

Steve O was taken by surprise by the backstage happenings, but the show must go on and he proceeded to call forth Ray Martinez from the back to assist him in announcing the next match, which would be the 2nd Lucha Libre match in IZW's history. Martinez reminded the crowd to reply from his saying Listo! Which means Ready, with the reply Si! Which means yes!

Ray Martinez proceeded to announce the competitors both in Spanish and in English, introducing Dr. Muerte first against Centalla both who had been in the Lucha Libre tag team match the week before. Starting the match out with a tie up the strong Muerte was able to get the advantage with a Big Go Behind Takedown which took out the smaller Centalla but Centalla would not stay down as he proceeded to work out of the bigger Muerte's grapple hold to which he reversed it into a impressive arm drag variation followed up by an impressive Tope that took both of the Luchadors out of the match for a brief moment, as they both staggered into the ring after the impressive aerial display. Another tie up this time in the form of the test of strength once again gave the advantage to the bigger Dr. Muerte who manhandled Centalla into the corner which he followed up with a massive body splash into the corner. But the speed demon of Centalla was only fazed barely by the large splash, as he proceeded to best Muerte in a Lucha move exchange that he finished up with a dropkick that sent Muerte to the outside. Once again feeling it was time to grab some air, Centalla went off the top with a somersault plancha that took Muerte off his feet into the barrier, as the crowd was going nuts by the aerial display of Centalla. Once again getting into the ring so either of them could finally pick up the pin fall, it was the Doctor of Death who irishwhipped Centalla into the turnbuckles, charging with a full head of steam Muerte went body first into the turnbuckle, this was the opening Centalla needed as he proceeded to once again fly with an impressive rotating cross body block that was sort of a moonsault, taking Dr. Muerte off his feet with a bang was all that was needed for Centalla and the 1-2-3! So the winner of the Lucha Libre singles match was the blue and silver masked Centalla.

After a brief intermission, the ZorthoTron420 clicked on with us being taken back to Impact, Inc.'s office, we were joined by Johnny Z, Gary Tool and the beaten up and hurting Bernie D and Brad Michaels who were still sore from their loss to TPT. After what seemed to be a heated argument that might cause a few cracks in Impact, Inc., Johnny Z was able to pull back the group by reminding them of what they are and that they are the most dominating faction in pro wrestling today.

It was then time for the Main Event, the match would be for the IZW Impact Division title, and it would be the "Owner of IZW" Johnny Z against the champion "The Irish Phenom" Big John O'Malley who had made an appearance earlier in the night assisting Trailer Park Trash against other members of Impact, Inc. Johnny Z had come out with "Coach" Gary Tool but he was sent to the back by Thomas Patrick to keep the match fair and equal. Coach Tool couldn't believe this as he showed his frustration all the way to the back, Johnny Z would not stand for this as he proceeded to get of the ring and follow Coach's lead walking to the back while Thomas Patrick continued to count out Johnny Z until he reached the count of 9. Johnny Z finally made his way to the ring and the match was on, Zorthos started the match of with a headlock to the chromium dome of John O'Malley who reversed the tight headlock following it up with a clothesline, massive body splash, a huge senton followed up by a flying kick. This brought out Bernie D and "Bad" Brad from the back to gang up on Big John who could not fight off this 3 on 1 disadvantage until J. C. and K. C. of Trailer Park Trash made the save an proceeded to help O'Malley fight off Impact, Inc.

Impact, Inc. would not stand for what just happened, and they would not be wrangled into a 3 on 3 with the makeshift team of the IZW Impact Division champion and TPT. But the fans demanded it, and finally Impact, Inc. decided to participate and the massive match of Impact, Inc( Bernie D, Brad Michaels and Johnny Z) .vs. Big John O'Malley and Trailer Park Trash was on and a huge big brawl began the match with a BANG!

K. C. started the match off against Brad Michaels. Both seemed to be a little exhausted from the earlier tag match, K. C. decided to be friendly and show a little bit of southern hospitality by extending his hand, Brad Michaels felt that it was safe and he shook K. C.'s hand which got him a foot stomp in return. K. C. tagged in J. C. which lead to a little more foot stomping on a Saturday night on Brad Michaels' foot, feeling tired of getting his toes crushed Brad Michaels tagged in Bernie D, in retaliation J. C. tagged in John O'Malley who proceeded to lay on the smack down with a few spankings before Bernie got tired of getting his lickens. He tagged in Johnny Z but before he could even enter the ring O'Malley kicked the rope into the Zorthos family jewels. John O'Malley tagged in K. C. to give him a little break, and to allow K. C. to get his lickens in. Zorthos finally rolled back into the ring but just received a flying elbow for his troubles, seeing his advantage K. C. attempted a big suplex on Zorthos, but Zorthos reversed the Trailer Park Trash into a release suplex that took K. C. for a loop. Impact Inc then proceed to all get their shots in, tagging in Brad Michaels who hit a body slam followed up by a elbow drop combo, after a little bit of corner work, Michaels proceeded to throw K. C. outside to the floor with a thud! Johnny Z decided that a few shoulders into K. C's gut in the guard rails would be needed to soften up the middle of K. C. who was then ruthlessly tossed into the ring to a waiting shark of Bernie D who proceed to suplex K. C. unmercifully, tagging in Brad Michaels he hit a gut wrench suplex that took K. C. off his feet and into a corner. Another quick tag Bernie body slammed the back of K. C. into the mat as hard as he could; this was all that was needed for Bernie D to actually climb to the top of the turnbuckles and to actually fly off with a massive top rope leg drop which missed resulting in a thud and sending shockwaves thru Bernie D's body. J. C. made his way into the ring to assist his hurting brother, showing their tag team prowess the duo hit double dropkicks, clotheslines and finishing up with a double back body drop. All of Impact Inc were gathered at ringside after the beat down of moves by TPT, which left them open for Big John O'Malley's lawn dart press of J. C. onto the crowd of Impact Inc, if a mass of 4 bodies wasn't enough K. C. decided that he should somersault plancha the group of men who caught him with their bodies. After the body mass of Impact Inc, and TPT got to their collective feet it was only a matter of time before "Bad" Brad Michaels came off the top with a flying splash on to TPT and Bernie D because John Zorthos had ran to the back, but when he spotted John O'Malley climbing the turnbuckle he rushed back to the ring behind O'Malley's back knocking him off the turnbuckle. Johnny Z then decided to do a little flying of his own, as he proceeded to launch himself over the top rope, plancha his own team mates and the opposite tag team to the ground into the guardrails and almost into the crowd. Some how all 6 men were not hurt after the exchange of flying moves from the ring, they all made their ways back into the ring somehow. And being the legal man K. C. was the one left in the ring to absorb even more assault from Impact, Inc., Brad Michaels proceeded to power bomb K. C. straight into the mat with a force that jarred K. C. against the mat, tagging in Johnny Z he went to work applying a backbreaking camel clutch that was going to snap K. C. like a twig after having the hold in for minutes Johnny Z decided to catch his breath and tagged in Brad Michaels who applied his own camel clutch only releasing to attempt and lock it in even harder to which somehow K. C. was able to roll over and put his foot right in the crotch of Brad Michaels, who stumbled back but somehow K. C. was not able to make it to the corner and for his troubles he ate a Back Body Drop that could have been the end of the match if Michaels wanted it to, as he proceeded to Irishwhip K. C. into the ropes which K. C. reversed into a tilt-a-whirl head scissors that allowed K. C. to tag in Big John while Brad Michaels tagged in Johnny Z. Johnny Z locked in a big sleeper on O'Malley which brought in Brad Michaels to try and get a few shots in which O'Malley locked on a sleeper of his own, but Michaels somehow got J. C. into a sleeper hold, then J. C. put Bernie into a sleeper of his own until finally K. C. was put into a sleeper by Bernie, a huge 6 man sleeper was turned into a chin buster chain reaction. This was the fire that lit the fuse of all men, as all men paired with each other. Bernie D climbed the top turnbuckle once again but J. C. crotched him, climbing to the top J. C. was going to attempt a Frankensteiner but Bernie D reversed it into a huge Top Rope Kryptonite Krunch at the same time Big John O'Malley hit a Guinness Hangover on Johnny Z. Brad Michaels then proceeded to accidentally Cross Body block his own partner Bernie D, which left Donderwitz open to a Lawn Dart splash by Big John O'Malley to which J. C. after the splash received a super kick for his troubles. John O'Malley then attempted a Guinness Hangover on the prone Michaels after the super kick but Bernie D laid out John O'Malley with the IZW Impact Division title for revenge which allowed "Bad" Brad Michaels to pick up the win. The winners were Impact Inc, and they celebrated by dismantling TPT, Johnny Z proceeded to brainbuster the hell out of J. C., Brad Michaels super kicked the IZW Impact Division title belt into the face of K. C. that legally knocked him out, and to finish it up Bernie D sky-highed JC allowing Johnny Z to hit a second rope splash for the icing on the kick. Impact, Inc. walked out to their own ability, while it took every member of security and referee Thomas Patrick to help out Team O'Malley and TPT!

This upcoming Saturday IZW will once again be coming out of the Impact Arena, every champion will be present. Will the IZW Heavyweight champion Michael Barry have to deal with Thomas Rumsfeld? Will Team Shenanigans once again take on Impact Inc? What will be done with the cruiserweight title? Will Nathan Sensation get revenge on Damon Winzor? Will we see the Luchadors in action once again? Other questions will be asked, and answers will be given as IZW once again shows you why it is the best pro wrestling promotion in the world!
