JR's Blog: CBS SPORTS NETWORK BOXING LIVE TONIGHT..TAKER THOUGHTS..JR TO TORONTO FOR NXT & RINGSIDE SHOW!
Posted: Nov 21st 2016 By: Jim Ross
Join me tonight on CBS Sports Network for Knockout Night at The D Boxing live at midnight eastern time. It's a fun card with a strong main event. We'll be inside a huge tent at the Downtown Las Vegas Event Center and I'll be teaming with boxing hall of famer Al Bernstein again. Join us or set your DVR's.
This Sunday we bring our RINGSIDE with Jim Ross Show to Toronto at The Second City for one show only. Tickets are still available at the door, Ticketmaster CANADA & www.livenation.com. VIP ticket holders should arrive by noon for our meet/greet and photo op. Gen Admission ticket holders will be admitted at 2 pm for the 2:30 pm show time. The show will conclude by 4 pm
If you don't have a ticket, you can score VIP or GA tickets Sunday at the venue.
Enjoyed chatting with ROH's Kevin Kelly this week on The Ross Report podcast at www.podcastone.com, iTunes, and here on the homepage of our site. I do some Survivor Series booking including thoughts on my ideas for the Lesnar-Goldberg bout.
My plans are to attend @WWE NXT Takeover in TO Saturday night with friends and my business manager as guests of WWE management of which we are grateful.
Excited for the entire card but especially the Samoa Joe vs Shinsuke Nakamura main event. They're two of my favorite in ring talent's working today.
Great seeing Undertaker on the 900th episode of SD Live Tuesday night. The Deadman is still rehabbing a hip, procedure that he recently underwent to address a chronic, hip ailment. As much as I'd love to see Taker back in the ring more, I don't see that happening but I'm certainly prepared to say I'm was wrong.
Certainly Taker could be effectively worked into various storylines as a reocurring character which adds additional star power to the SD Live presentation.
Not pleased that I won't be in Morgantown, WV to see my Oklahoma Sooners battle WVU in a crucial, Big 12 Conference showdown. Hoping to find the ABC game on a Toronto TV. I don't plan on missing any more OU games this season.
FYI...I've got Lesnar winning Sunday night on @WWENetwork from Toronto in a straight forward, physical bout with ample strikes and MMA influence. This match could easily fit into a 15 minute bell to bell window or so I'm thinking
