7-23 WWE RAW

King Booker & Queen Sharmell came to the ring, which had a throne in it. They asked Jerry Lawler (who Booker called "Jerome") to join them and said they can both state why they should each be the King in the WWE. Every time Lawler tried to talk on the microphone, it cut in and out. Booker called for another mic and, while it was being delivered, began to state his case. He said he was crowned King at the Great American Bash last year. He earned it. He said you can't just start calling yourself "King". He then insulted the Sacramento Kings and said they only won games because of a crooked referee. HE said he'd put in a request to have them renamed the Sacramento Peanuts. He asked the crowd if Lawler or Triple H, but then answered his own question with a resounding "No!". Lawler started to ask if Booker was through, but Queen Sharmell interrupted him saying "All Hail King Booker!". Lawler said he can make this very simple. A King is only as good as his kingdom. If the people don't think if him as a king, he's not a king. Lawler said people think Booker is a "pompous, self-delusional, royal pain in the arse". Booker said that was insubordination and the 2 men started to fight. Lawler punched Booker and kicked him out of the ring, then dropped a bowl of fruit on top of him.

Mickie James & Maria def. Beth Phoenix & Melina

Jerry Brisco was backstage giving Cody Rhodes some advice on his match against Randy Orton, when Orton came up and dragged Rhodes off for a brief talk. Orton told Rhodes he could have severly injured Dusty Rhodes during their Bullrope match at the Great American Bash, but he chose not to.

Dusty Rhodes came down to save his son Cody from a post match RKO by Randy Orton. After driving Orton from the ring, Rhodes went to tend to his son, which gave Orton the chance to reenter the ring and deliver a running kick to the head, severly inuring Rhodes.

Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin def. Paul London & Bryan Kendrick

7-26 TNA iMPACT

Christian Cage, A. J. Styles, Tomko, Robert Roode & Traci Brooks were backstage. Cage was surrounded by security. He was accused of being in hiding for the past week. Cage said that's not true. He just wanted to earn an honest wage like every other blue collar worker. Roode & A. J. said that was right. Cage said he wallked into an unsafe work environment last week and that's why he now has Cage Security with him. He encouraged A. J. & Robert Roode to take out Sting and Abyss tonight in their respective matches. If not, he'll hold them personally responsible for anything that happens to him. Cage then left. Roode & Styles faced off. Roode said he's old up his end of the bargain. He asked if A. J. woudl do the same. A. J. told Traci Brooks to go carry Roodes' luggage and wondered what Roode meant.

Sting def. Robert Roode (w/ Miss Brooks) in a No DQ match. Eric Young came down in full Sting makeip and grabbed the chair that Roode was trying to use on Sting. This allowed Sting to hit the Scorpion Death Drop and win the match.

Team 3-D and Steiner Brothers came to the ring. Scott Steiner said "you 2 fatasses" don't call them, they call Team 3-D out. Scott dared Team 3-D to talk to the Puerto Ricans like that. He said Puerto Ricans saved his left on June 3. Team 3-D called Rick Steiner "half-Retarded". Scott told Brother Ray to let his thyroid continue to grow out of control. He said he'd never missed a match in his life, but on June 3, he was fighting for his life. He was told he only had 5 hours to live and publicly thanked the doctors, nurses and fans who showed support. Brother Ray said they reason Scott didn't show up was because he knew Team 3-D was the better brother team. He accused Scott Steiner of being a liar b ecause he saw no scar on his throat. Scott shows Brother Ray the scar in his side where the doctors had to cut him open. Brother Ray said that would have been a daily occurrence and considered a paper-cut in ECW. Scott reiterated his point about Team 3D being "Bingo Hall Champions", but they were real World Tag Team Champions in a real federation, WCW. At this point, The Voodoo King Mafia came outand siad that the greatest team ever was now in the ring. When they were on top, wrestling was on top. Scott reminded VKM that WCW beat WWF 82 weeks straight. He again refers to Brother Ray's weight, which upsets Ray. All 3 teams started to brawl. Team 3-D used the Puerto Rican flag to chose Rick Steiner while VKM restrained Scott, but the Latin American Xchange came to the ring to straighten things out.

A. J. Styles def. Abyuss in a No DQ Match. After Abyss gave A. J. a Blck Hole Slam, Tomko came interfered, then the lights went out and Sting came in. Robert Roode hit the ring and, when Abyss went out to get his back from under the ring, a pair of hands appeared and dragged him under. this allowed a 2-on-1, then Abyss reappeared. He was bleeding from his head and arm. Cage then came down and orchestrated a power bomb on Sting through broken glass (which is what was in the bag). Then Abyss was slammed on broken glass and thumbtacks (the contents of a second bag). The show closed with the "Christian Coalition" standing triumphant.

7-27 WWE Smackdown

Matt Hardy met Ric Flair backstage and traded "Whoo!"s prior to their match.

Matt Hardy & Ric Flair def. Chris Masters & WWE United States Champion Montell Vontavious Porter.
