Tyson Dean dethrones Tim Storm in Georgia to become the NEW National Wrestling Alliance North American Heavyweight Champion!

In front of a jam packed crowd last night, July 16, in Pavo, Georgia, history was made as Tim Storm defended his NWA North American Championship in a valiant, but, losing effort against the new champ, Tyson Dean!

Dean had recently been named as Storm’s Number One Contender by NWA President Bruce Tharpe and NWA Director of Operations/Senior Official James Beard. Thus, the match was signed to take place at the NWA Southern Summer Showcase.

This epic battle of two Pro Wrestling titans ended after Tyson Dean somehow managed to get his foot on the ropes to break the count of the referee after Dean suffered Storm’s devastating finishing maneuver, “The Perfect Storm“. Storm then attempted a Fisherman’s Suplex only to see Dean break free and hit Storm with a Big Boot to setup a successful completion of Dean’s finishing maneuver, “The Dreamstreet Neckbreaker“, that was quickly followed up with a successful pin attempt.

After the match, Tyson Dean showed why the world’s best Professional Wrestlers are in the NWA when he had nothing but praise for the now former and 2x NWA North American Heavyweight Champion, Tim Storm. Dean also stated that he’ll definitely honor the former champion’s right to a rematch.
