7-9 "WWE RAW"
Charlie Haas came up to Shelton Benjamin and asked what he was doing. Benjamin said he was just putting on tape. Haas said last week his pre-match ritual consisted of kissing King Booker's hand. Benjamin said he didn't need to hear that because it's his birthday. Haas sang "Happy Birthday" to him. Benjamin thanked him and said he was going to go out and win his match tonight. He then added that if he didn't, he would kiss Haas on the lips. Haas agreed to this, but after Benjamin left, Haas realised what he just agreed to.
Dusty Rhodes came to the ring. He said he wanted Randy Orton to meet him there 1-on-1. Orton arrived. Dusty asked if Orton thought it was over when he slapped Dusty. He called Orton a disprespectful, snotty-nosed punk. Orton does nothing. Dusty asked if Orton was just going to stand there and look stupid. Orton started to talk, but Dusty said it seemed like the onlly time Randy would act was when people were down and then he would spit in their face and kick them. He was disrespectful. Orton finally spoke up, saying he grew up in a family of legends and that's he's 3rd generation. He said Dusty doesn't deserve respect and that Orton gets respect for what he's accomplished. He reminds everyone that he is the youngest WWE World Champion and that he ended the careers of Shawn Michaels and Rob Van Dam. Dusty said that was what he was talking about and demanded that Orton look him in the eye. He told Orton he'd gain no respect by kicking people when they were down. Orton then challenged Dusty to a match at the Great American Bash PPV. Dusty said he's in no shape to meet Orton. Orton suggested that if Dusty wouldn't do it for himself, he should do it for his son. He then asked Dusty if he wanted him to end Cody's career before it even began. Dusty agreed to meet Orton in a Texas Bullrope Match. Orton accepted and told Dusty to tell his son to bring a broom to clean up what was left of his dad after the match. Cody came to the ring. Orton told him to leave before he got hurt. There was a staredown between Orton and Cody and then Cody slapped Orton. Randy circled the Rhodes', but then left the ring without further incident.
Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas were backstage after Benjamin's loss to Paul London. Benjamin said the whole kissing thing was a joke. Haas said he didn't want to do that as it was just a joke. Benjamin was relieved, then Haas held out his hand and said Benjamin could kiss that instead. An intense staredown occurred, then Haas pulled his hand back and said he was just kidding. The 2 partners hugged and Haas once again wished Benjamin "Happy Birthday." While they were doing that, Ron Simmons entered and saw the 2 men embracing, which prompted him to say, "Damn!".
Mickie James & WWE World Women's Champion Candice Michelle def. Jillian Hall & Beth Phoenix. Phoenix was a substitute for Melina, who was suffering from a "severly sprained ankle." After the match, Phoenix attacked Michelle, then she and Jillian held her while Melina (who, by that time, had "recovered") entered the ring for a brief 3-on-1 attack. James came to the rescue and the 2 women back up the ramp.
7-12 "TNA iMPACT!"
A. J. Styles & Tomko attacked Abyss after his match against Lance Hoyt. After a brief 2-on-1, Sting came to the rescue and used his bat on both men, driving them from the ring. He then handed the bat to Abyss. He took the microphone and told A. J. & Tomko they'd meetin in 3 days. He handed the mic to Abyss and, for the first time in 4 years, Abyss spoke, saying "Tomko...A. J....3 days...Click! Doomsday!"
Jeremy Borash was backstage with the Christian Coalition. Christian accused Borash of knowing what's going on. A. J. said they're supposed to be a team of champions. He said Tomko had never held a belt. He wanted to know who the 4th member was going to be tonight. Cage said A. J.' s been around him for 6 or 7 months and hasn't absorbed anything. He introduced Robert Roode as the 4th member. Roode thanked Cage and said he's tired of being screwed over by Jim Cornette. Cage asked Roode about something lhe likes to say and Roode recited his new catchphrase, "If it doesn't make dollars, it doesn't make sense." Cage took an immediate liking to Roode and they, along with Ms. Brooks, walked off, telling A. J. & Tomko to "catch up, kids." A. J. seemed offended by this, saying that Cage always calls him a "kid". He walked off and Tomko told Borash that it's the same thing every week.
TNA World Champion Kurt Angle, TNA World X Division Champion Samoa Joe & TNA World Tag Team Champions Team 3-D def. Christian Cage, A. J. Styles, Tomko & Robert Roode (w/ Ms. Brooks).
