JR's Blog: JR's Feedback on Chicago Raw, Wrestlecon Appearance, CBS Sports Network Boxing THIS Saturday, NJPW Friday on AXSTV, House of Blues Dallas, Duggan on Ross Report

Greetings to all and thanks for stopping by our humble website. Excited to welcome Hacksaw Jim Duggan to our Ross Report tonight at 9 ET/6pm Pacific on Podcastone.com and iTunes along with being available right here on the homepage of our site. Great stories from our Mid South Days together, Hack's WWE run, his battle with cancer and so much more. This is a really fun show plus we discuss many of the perceived issues within WWE that many fans are interested. Our podcast is FREE and you can subscribe for FREE @iTunes.

RAW/Chicago feedback:

The show had its moments but it was at times challenging to watch for three hours. This could arguably be more because RAW was a 189 minute show rather than an indictment on the creative. Creative is always subjective but a 3+ hour broadcast with commercials is daunting.

The show had a hard time topping the opening segment with the continuing saga of the McMahon Family which I am enjoying. Shane McMahon is a breath of fresh air IMO and the Shane vs Taker match at WM32 will likely exceed many naysayers cynical speculation and predictions of gloom and doom.

Shane's Muy Tai knees were well done and looked nice and snug.

Damn solid match with Owens vs Neville. Both guys have 'it.' Hope that neither are never overlooked because of "bodies and size."

Enjoyed seeing Sami Zayn again as he brings organic passion and energy plus he's an excellent in ring talent.

Nothing wrong with the HHH-Ambrose segment at the top of hour two except, after the fact , it seems as if it could have been accomplished in less time.

If I never see another handicap match on TV, o.k. for the next six months, I will be happy.

The women's tag match was too short. I would have liked to have seen more time dedicated to them. Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks will help draw their demo to the WM32 broadcast.

Interesting turn of events with Jericho knifing AJ in the back. If it means more of Y2J vs Styles matches including at Wrestlemania Texas, I'm good with it. No, I don't think it was too soon. WWE likely wants AJ to get a signature win in a 'singles match' in Texas.

The US Champion Kalisto got all of 2:10 of TV time versus Tyler Breeze. These two could potentially have a fine, in ring presentation but not in 2 minutes and change. 2 minute marches rarely help a talent or enhance a title in need of rehabilitation.

I've said for a long time that if WWE would book Ryback more closely to the way that they utilized Warrior that Ryback would have a better chance of turning into a main eventer.

Enjoyed the brief drama between HHH and Bray Wyatt. Wyatt is a major, character 'face if WWE ever decides pull that trigger. The fans appear to love Bray's presentation especially his fan friendly entrance.

Thanks to all for your feedback on our first, AXSTV broadcast last Friday night with Josh Barnett on NJPW and I invite you to tune in this Friday night at 9/8CT for another terrific show. Josh and I are working hard to earn your support.

Happy to be invited to Wrestlecon in Dallas on Friday April 1 from 10 am-1 pm. For all the details on this massive, two day event visit www.wrestlecon.com.

Speaking of Dallas, tickets fo our three, RINGSIDE with Jim Ross and Friends Shows are selling rapidly and all three shows are on target to sell out in advance so say the officials at the House of Blues in Dallas. www.ticketmaster.com has your tickets and I hope that you will join us. We will have plenty of merchandise to select from at these shows including JR's delicious products, Beef Jerky, Seasoning, tees, caps and more.

Very significant week for yours truly as we will broadcast our first 'Fight Night at the D' in Las Vegas this Saturday night on CBS Sports Network. Please check your local listings and join us. I'd love your feedback on this new venture on Twitter @JRsBBQ. "LET'S GET IT ON!"
