Greetings to all and thanks for stopping by our site. Just returned from several, great days in Knoxville where we did our RINGSIDE Show on Thursday night and then had the opportunity to be on the Oklahoma Sooner sideline for their double overtime victory over the Tennessee Vols before 102,455 fans in Neyland Stadium. Our last, booked RINGSIDE Show of the year is this Sunday afternoon in Houston at 4 pm at the Warehouse Live Ballroom which is only a 10 minute walk from the Toyota Center where WWE will present Night Of Champions after our show. I'm hoping fans will attend both events and make a great afternoon/evening of it. Tickets for my show start at $20 and are available at www.ticketfly.com.

I appreciate the heartfelt hospitality that I was shown in Knoxville and certainly appreciate Kane, Dr. Tom Prichard, James Storm and Brad Nessler attending my show there on Thursday along with all the great fans who joined us.

Check out the Ross Report Podcast with former WWE ring announcer Justin Roberts, who is writing a book about his career, at podcastone.com, iTunes and the homepage of this site. Great story of chasing one's dream and then when it ends comes the question of "what's next?"

Tuesday night at 9 ET/6Pacific a new Ross Report podcast drops with the great duo of Demolition, Bill Eadie and Barry Darsow joining me. This is one of the most eagerly anticipated conversations that we've had the pleasure of doing and I feel certain that you will enjoy it. Subscribe for FREE at iTunes and you will insure that you will never miss a show plus it helps us in the process. Demolition is a hall of fame team in my view and both men are class acts that represent the profession in a good way.

Bruce Mitchell, long time contributor to the Pro Wrestling Torch, will join me for the first time next Monday after WWE NOC in Houston to review the show for our podcast that will, as usual, drop on Tuesday night at the normal time.

Interesting speculation online that the Hardy Boys might be back on the WWE radar. I have no idea if this is true or not but I don't think it is a bad idea if they were utilized much like the Dudley's have been lately. Jeff and Matt had a spectacular tag team run in WWE while Jeff was close to becoming a big time, singles star, as well. Jeff's ladder match with Undertaker is still one of my most vivid broadcasting memories. The Hardy's and the Dudley's in a TLC match at Wrestlemania Texas would certainly be attractive to Attitude Era fans who are looking for a reason to reconnect with the brand and sample the WWE Network.

Getting lots of questions as to why I don't think that the Undertaker is ready to hang up his boots. It's more of a gut feeling than any thing else plus some feedback from those closer to the matter than am I. If Taker is healthy, and he appears to be, and not in need of any more surgeries at this time then he seems like he could pull of a Lesnar-like schedule and make special appearances but at the same time keep his persona fresh, his body healthy and remain in the 'special attraction' realm. Like an other husband and father, one has to earn a living to fulfill one's obligations and to provide for family so why not do what one's done so well if it can be done? This is mere speculation but it's my take on the matter and time will tell what the verdict will be. Undertaker on major cards in specific markets is good for WWE business and what's good for WWE business is good for all talents.

I forgot to mention Happy 50th Birthday to Paul Heyman on September 11 as I was in Knoxville working but here's a belated best wishes to one of my favorite, all tme partners in broadcasting who I'm happy that I had the ability to give his first national, TV break in WCW in Atlanta back in the day. Many fans still feel that our broadcast of Wrestlemania 17 and on the Smackdown after the 911 tragedy was our finest work.

September 11 will be remembered for many things in my world the least important of which is that it marked my last, official day in WWE, September 11, 2013. That date will never define me as it motivated me to reinvent myself and move forward of which we are still doing. My WWE tenure was my career highlight. We all have the opportunity of reinventing ourselves and positively progressing in our lives. The days following the 911 tragedy are still sobering memories and those days in Houston following the terrorist attack in NYC will be with me longer than any other 911 occurrence in my life. Broadcasting the Smackdown on Sept 13 live in Houston was a night that has taken on a much more significant place in my broadcasting lexicon than most would likely understand. I'm grateful that Vince McMahon had confidence in Paul Heyman and I to handle those duties when it wasn't our regular gig.

We have shined up three chapters of my autobiography and they are now being shopped to various publishers. We remain optimistic that we will release the book in 2016 at some point. I'm pleased with what we've done so far and that hasn't always been the case. I'm too critical of my own story but I want it to be a great read. Not good...but great.
