Morgan Shows No Fear Of The Dark

Two immovable, unstoppable forces of nature collide. What is the outcome? We may know the answer to that come September 12th as Kevin Morgan is set to face Convict at Redemption. But will it be a 1-on-1 match?
Convict made his return a couple of weeks before Redemption after an absence of almost a year. And in that return, he demonstrated an alliance with Total Darkness, the mysterious figure who most recently had been responsible for Jeff Wolfenbarger losing the Impact Player of the Year Tournament Final match against Brad Michaels. Wolfenbarger was then attacked backstage and a secret alliance was formed between Wolfenbarger and Kevin Morgan. But with Wolfenbarger temporarily out of action, Morgan has been forced to worry about Convict and Total Darkness on his own.
Recently, it seemed as if Convict and Total Darkness were content to simply pick their spots. For instance, two weeks ago, Moran was facing Maddox Jones when out of nowhere, Convict entered the arena and attacked Moran. The match was thrown out, but that did not matter to Morgan as he fought off an attempt to deliver a 15-to-20 and then connected with his own spear, putting Convict down. Then, the lights went out in the Impact Arena and when they returned, Total Darkness stood by the side of Convict and the pair used their numbers advantage and element of surprise to catch Morgan off-guard and put him down to the mat.
Oddly, after delivering the 15-to-20, Total Darkness backed Convict off, as if to say that they had done enough for the moment. But before they could exit the arena, IZW Co-Commissioner Shawn McHale arrived and said that since it was obvious that Convict wanted to get his hands on Morgan and since he knew that the people wanted to see Morgan get his hands on Convict, he made that match for Redemption.
Convict was not willing to just sit back and wait for September 12th to arrive, though. The next week, Morgan came out to confront Brad Michaels, who was protesting what he felt was discriminatory action by Impact, Inc. Morgan said that since Brad was dressed to wrestle, he was there to answer the challenge and the match was made. Again, after a long and hard-fought match, Convict made his presence known, but Morgan did not wait for him to enter the ring, instead, leaving the match and running up the ramp to confront Convict. The two behemoths battled around the ring as referee Chris Smith continued the count and Morgan almost ot counted out before rolling back into the ring at the count of 9. Michaels, waiting like the opportunist he tends to be, attempted a Superkick, but Morgan caught him, propelled him to the ropes and hit a spear on Michaels to put him down for 3. But then, the lights went out in the Impact Arena again. This time, though, when they came up, Total Darkness & Convict stood in the ring, while Morgan stood on the ramp, pointing to his head and signalling that their mind games would not work on him again.
With approximately one month left until Redemption, Morgan needs to watch is back for attacks from either of these mysterious individuals. An ally of some sort would be great, but the status of Jeff Wolfenbarger is currently unknown. Maybe Morgan needs to go back into the past, to former tag team partners such as Xavior or former allies such as Impact, Inc. Moran certainly believes that he can handle Convict and Total Darkness alone. But history shows that two devious people with unexplainable abilities such as them may be too much. And Morgan may be facing some fear of his own before too long.
