Greg ?The Hammer? Valentine to wrestle in honor of Roddy Piper

People around the world have been shocked to learn about the death of wrestling legend Rowdy Roddy Piper. It?s very difficult to put into words just how much Roddy Piper meant to the world of professional wrestling and the world in general. Truly one of the most talented men to have ever stepped into the squared circle.

WWE Hall of Famer Greg ?The Hammer? Valentine, one of Piper's closest friends, and former 3x NWA National Heavyweight Champion Phil ?Nitro? Monahan are scheduled to appear at the Jackson, MI Meggacon event on August 22, @ 7 pm for Championship International Wrestling. Both Valentine and Monahan have agreed to make their appearance one for the history books in tribute to Piper. In honor of their fallen comrade they have signed to face each other in a Dog Collar Chain Match made famous by Piper & Valentine. Both wrestlers plan to pull out all of the stops and make this tribute match one for the ages. ?I?m honored to do this match for my friend. I?m going to miss him.? Valentine said.
