Greetings one and all from a HOT Oklahoma where temps will be above 100 degrees the next few days. It's a big month for yours truly as our RINGSIDE w/ Jim Ross Shows are just around the corner. Our Wednesday August 19 Show at the Washington, D.C. Improv is close to selling out with a few, General Admission tickets remaining at www.dcimprov.com. On Saturday August 22 we will have our annual, NYC show at the Gramercy Theatre at 8 pm and VIP and General Admission tickets still are available at ticketmaster.com and the Gramercy box office. Thanks to all for the great feedback on this week's Ross Report podcast w/ @TheRealAlSnow. Great stories and valuable info for any one wanting a career in the ring. It's FREE at podcastone.com and ITunes plus here on our site's homepage.

Happy to see the WWE Divas get three segments of TV time on Smackdown Thursday night. They all maximized their minutes and while Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks get plenty of pub, and well deserved I might add, don't sleep on the others ladies especially Naomi who is a gifted athlete and has been a standout since I saw her first start in FCW in Tampa. If these women continue to work as hard to get better at their jobs as they did to get to the main roster then they will continue to earn more TV time, more money and contribute to the overall success of the talent roster which should be every talent's goal no matter the company.

Did a short interview with Bleacher Report and got asked the same question that I generally get daily on Twitter and that is if I'd ever consider going back to announcing for WWE. First of all, no talks of that nature have taken place, I am not interested in going back on the road 51 weeks a year and WWE is looking to get younger in all areas and not older. Would I like to broadcast a match at a Wrestlemania? Of course...who wouldn't? That's the extent of my thoughts on that matter. I had a great, 21 year run in WWE for which I'm grateful but we've both moved on. However, if any one in the biz can honestly look you in the eye and say that being a part of a Wrestlemania presentation wouldn't be fun then I question their level of honesty. I assume some may feel that way but the vast majority would say yes. That;s the entire story and I'm happy doing what I'm doing and that is being able to work my own schedule and do projects that I enjoy without extensive travel.

Really enjoyed Lucha Underground Wednesday night and thought their season finale was excellent. I'm intrigued by a weekly pro wrestling show having a 'season.' The matches were overall strong, emotional and at times graphically old school. The Vampiro match was simplistic but highly effective and compelling. I'm still not a fan of the intergender content but LU handles it about as well as one can. Thought Alberto El Patron v. Johnny Mundo with the Melina cameo was a great start to the two hour show as well. As are most fans, I'm anxious to see if this group has a season two. Fingers crossed for them.

Enjoyed Steve Austin's interview with Daniel Cormier on podcastone.com this week. @dc_mma is a long time pro wrestling fan who attended our RINGSIDE show in San Jose during WM31 weekend.

Tickets for our two September RINGSIDE w/ Jim Ross Shows are available now. Thursday Sept 10 in Knoxville at The International at 8 pm and tickets start at only $20 at www.ticketweb.com and Sunday afternoon at 4 pm in Houston on Sunday September 20 at Warehouse Live with tickets starting at $20 at www.ticketfly.com. VIP meet/greet/photo op/signed swag tickets are available as well but are selling briskly. The Houston venue is a 10 minute walk to Toyota Center where WWE will present Night of Champions so it makes it a layup to attend both events.

Q&A's here on the site have been updated. Thanks to those submitting questions.

We are working diligently to get JR's products into the 200+ chain of Ingles Markets throughout the southeastern part of the USA. Getting our goods on grocery store shelves is a daunting to say the least process. Th Ingles folks have been wonderful to work with nonetheless.

Will hopefully get to catch a couple of OU football practices this weekend. Football season is my favorite time of the year. That's American, tackle football as I'm not a student of the game of European football but enjoy watching it occasionally. Lots of unanswered questions for my team this season. I'm totally optimistic that the Sooners will top last year's 8-5 record.

Anxious to watch NJPW tonight on @AXSTV with my friends Mauro Ranallo and Josh Barnett calling the action. These two are as good as it gets in today's marketplace IMO. This is one of my favorite wresting TV shows to enjoy and I encourage you check it out every Friday night.

Strongly suggest that you order Mid Atlantic Memories which is a great film about the Mid Atlantic Territory and can be ordered at www.nwalegends.com.

Next week my guest on the Ross Report podcast will be Tony Schiavone. I'm looking forward to that one a great deal. Last year my podcast with Tony garnered over 1M downloads. Subscribe for FREE at ITunes and you will not miss a show. Plus, you subscribing helps us a great deal.

www.wweshop.com has JR's awaiting you for immediate delivery.
