JR's Blog: Al Snow Ross Report Getting Rave Reviews, @HeymanHustle Does it Again, Miz Helping Tough Enough, Lucha Underground Season Finale Tonight, Rousey vs. Cyborg will Happen,

Greetings from a steamy, Oklahoma hoping that everyone is having a great day. OUr new podcast with @TheRealAlSnow is getting amazing feedback and the two hour show is funny, informative and insightful with something for everyone. Al's story of trying out as a teen with Ole Anderson in Charlotte is a classic. You can listen for FREE at podcastone.com, iTunes, and right here on this site on the homepage. Subscribing for FREE at iTunes helps us a great deal.

Here's a few tings that are on my radar:

@HeymanHustle promo on RAW Monday was arguably one of his best ever. If any wrestler or wannabe who wants to understand the art of verbally telling a story and can listen to only one person in the business then make that one person Happy Heyman. It makes me proud that I was in a position to give him his first, national break on TV back in the WCW days. For me, it was easy to see that he was a special talent and he's proven to be even more extraordinary than I predicted. I loved working with him even though he was could be like an ornery, little brother at times but make no mistake about it we jelled because we had mutual respect for each other and we both made it in the business when the majority of those in it did not endorse or predict our success.

Bottom line, and I use this in my RINGSIDE w/ Jim Ross shows...NEVER let anyone define you. Your future is in your hands and don't allow for it to be put in the hands of others.

Th Roddy Piper tribute was exceptional on RAW and I thought WWE hit it out of the park on that presentation. It's hard to fathom that some keyboard warriors hit me on twitter @JRsBBQ that they thought it "wasn't enough." SMH.

Tough Enough down to six vying for the big money in the reality show. I've watched every episode but the format doesn't resonate with me. Not enough time to vote for my taste.

Season finale of Lucha Underground tonight on the El Rey Network. Check it out or DVR it. I had the opportunity to broadcast this episode but logistics couldn't be worked out. I'm a fan of the show nonetheless and am pulling for their success. They have some great talent. Big fan of producer Chris DeJoseph aka Big Dick Johnson. I'd be shocked is this group has a season two that Rey Mysterio wasn't a part of it. Hopefully, both come true.

My RINGSIDE Show in Washington DC at the DC Improv is getting close to a sell out. Check at dcimprov.com for ticket info. Our show is Wednesday August 19 at 8pm MC'ed by @chaddukes. As I write this we have TWO, VIP tickets remaining.

My only date in NYC is Saturday August 22 at the Gramercy Theatre and tickets are available at ticketmaster.com plus we will be giving away a pair of primo, Summer Slam tickets to a lucky attendee. Show time in the Big Apple is 8 pm.

Excited to be a part of the week long festivities of the Oklahoma at Tennessee college football extravaganza by having our RINGSIDE Show in Knoxville at the International on Thursday Sept 10 at 8 pm. Tickets start at ony $20 at www.ticketweb.com.

Houston will host RINGSIDE W/ Jim Ross just a 10 minute walk from the Toyota Center where WWE will present the Night of Champions on Sunday September 20. My show will start at 4 pm and will be over in PLENTY of time to make the short walk to the Toyota Center to enjoy the show. Tickets for my event start at only $20 and are on sale via www.ticketfly.com.

Still working on the details to bring JR's products to over 200 Ingles Markets throughout the southeastern part of the USA. We're close so please "stay tuned." Follow @InglesAdvantage on Twitter.

My team is working diligently on a variety of opportunities for Wrestlemania week in April that we hope to be able to announce soon. This I know, if things go as planned, I will be plenty busy Friday-Monday post RAW. We've secured a major, radio station group to be promotional partners with and are in the process of finalizing our Dallas HQ venue as well. Excited to be able to drive to the April event from our home in Norman, Oklahoma only about a 2+ hour trip.

Q&A's are updated elsewhere on our site.

Do not bet against Cris Cyborg facing Ronda Rousey in a mega fight in 2016 as there is too much money involved in this 'dream fight' for it not to go down. Cyborg needs to be steroid and performance enhancing drug free but the reward for her playing by the rules is the biggest check that she will ever earn. It's all about the money folks and making the fans happy which is promoting 101.

This main event will garner 1M+ buys easily on PPV.

Rousey sells PPV's which is why I think we will see her in AT&T Stadium at Wrestlemania unless there are scheduling conflicts. Having both Rousey ad Brock Lesnar on the same show equates to a potential blockbuster.

Not too late to order the Mid Atlantic Memories docu-film from www.nwalegends.com and get a free, signed collectors card from either Jim Cornette or myself. I think that all wrestling fans will enjoy the film.

Miz has been a positive addition to the Tough Enough panel of judges. I still say Miz' future is as a manager or a broadcaster and that he can be a major star at either role for years.

www.wweshop.com is the place to go to order JR's online for quick delivery. Let us grill and tailgate with you.

Remember this...pro wrestling villains that don't retreat, bitch & moan occasionally and always cheat to gain unfair advantages are NOT heels. They are only playing the role of a villain to which the consumer can see from a mile away. Please stop embarrassing your self.
