Brent Albright will be facing Fred Sampson in the second round of the Lou Thesz Bracket in the NWA World Heavyweight Title Tournament. Time and place for that match has not yet been determined. In other tournament matches, Adam Pearce defeated Aaron Aguilera, and Chad Parham defeated Damien Wayne in the Harley Race Bracket, so Pearce will face Wayne in an upcoming match. In the Jack Brisco Bracket, Claudio Castagnoli defeated Pepper Parks and Bryan Danielson defeated Nelson Creed so Castagnoli and Danielson will face one another. You can vote on who you think will win all the NWA World Title Tournament matches including the Albright-Sampson match at http://NWAwrestling.com/board/viewforum.php?f=7.
There have been rumors swirling that the Brent Albright-Fred Sampson second round match will take place at NWA-U's "Stars Under Stars" event on June 30th at the Wagoner Rodeo Grounds in Wagoner, OK but nothing has been confirmed.
The meeting Jeff Jarrett and TNA president Dixie Carter had on June 6th regarding television was at the Fox Executive Offices in Los Angeles. No details as to which of the many different Fox stations, which also includes MyNetwork TV, they were in talks with.
TNA has confirmed the release date for the "Best of Jeff Jarrett" DVD as September 18th.

Max Kellerman talked about the Mr. McMahon death angle on his radio show Tuesday, mocking it the whole time. His sidekick said they needed to get the Big Bossman on the case. The producer, who follows wrestling, said "He's dead." Gordon thought he was a mark for thinking Vince was really dead, having no idea he meant Bossman had died years ago.
Even though there was a newspaper story about Tony Atlas coming out of retirement for a match in Lewiston, ME, (which was posted on Oklafan this past Saturday), he is probably doing one or two matches a month in the New England states.
In the Multimedia section of the Professional Championship Wrestling website (PCWwrestling.com) they have posted computer wallpapers of some of their stars including John O'Malley, J. T. Oklafan extends its sympathies to Trailer Park Trash (J. C. & K. C.) and their sister Amanda on the passing of their father this past week.
Oklafan would also like to extend its sympathies to the family and friends of WWE Hall of Famer Sherri Martel, who passed away June 15th at the age of 49. Martel was a prominent woman performer, holding both the AWA World Women's Title 4 times, and the WWF World Women's Title once in her career. She also managed many performers in the AWA, WWF, ECW and WCW including Buddy Rose, Doug Somers, Randy Savage, Ted DiBiase, Shawn Michaels, Shane Douglas, Ric Flair and Harlem Heat. In 1989, she was captain for the first ever all-women's Survivor Series match. She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006 by Ted DiBiase. Her only documented Oklahoma appearance was on January 21, 2000, when she wrestled Luna Vachon to a Double DQ on an OPW/SSoW show in Tulsa, although there had been rumors that Martel would be used in upcoming shows in either MSWA or AACW.
