Tickets for our RINGSIDE w/ Jim Ross Show go on sale this Monday at noon at ticketmaster.com for our Gramercy Theater Show on Saturday night August 22, the night before Summer Slam, in New York City. Tickets start at $25 and we are doing one show only that will start at 8 pm Saturday evening August 22. I hope that you jump on the tickets early and join me and perhaps a surprise guest.
Less than 20 VIP Meet/Greet/Photo Op tickets remain for our first show ever in Baltimore on Saturday night May 16 at Rams Head Live. All tickets for this inaugural event are available in advance at ramsheadlive.com. My sincere thanks to Dan McDevitt and Maryland Championship Wrestling @MCWWrestling for all their support on our behalf. Dan's crew has a huge event themselves in Glen Burnie, Md on Friday night April 24 headlined by an appearance by Ric Flair.
I head to the UK to be a part of the largest Wrestlecon ever held in Europe on June 20-21 at the Grange Hotel near Tower Bridge. Some of the biggest stars in the biz are scheduled to appear including WWE Hall of Famers Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Trish Stratus, Lita aka Amy Dumas, Ron Simmons, Howard Finkel plus Godfather, Tatanka, Terri Runnels, Jackie Moore, Ashley Massaro, Demolition, The Nasty Boys, Tugboat, Alberto El Patron, Jim Neidhart, Harry Smith and UK legends Johnny Saint and Marty Jones. The Saturday sessions are getting near capacity but there are ample tickets for all functions including an audience with the Hitman and HBK on Sunday. For ticket info please go to www.psievents.co.uk.
On Monday June 22 in Manchester, I will join @ShawnMichaels at the comedy store for a show and meet and greet. Pre show meet and greet tickets for yours truly are available via www.psievents.co.uk and it will be the first time that HBK and I have taken the stage together so hopefully you can join us and be a part of history in Manchester.
Very excited to be attending the much anticipated New England Fan Fest in Providence, Rhode Island on Friday June 26 and Saturday June 27. This is another must attend event for all wrestling fans. The lineup of guests for this one reads like a who's who in the business and you can get more info by going to www.newenglandfanfest.com. We kick it off with a VIP dinner on Friday evening June 26 at 6 pm that you won't want to miss at the Rhode Island Convention Center. JR's products will also be available at this Fan Fest.
Great conversation this week with Shawn Michaels about how he almost left WWE for wCW and what startling event prompted him to go clean and sober and to change his life for the better. You can listen for FREE at podcastone.com and via iTunes OR right here on the home page of our website. The Ross Report continues to grow thanks to you and we appreciate each of you for your support on this labor of love known as The Ross Report. This Tuesday night TNA's Bobby Roode will be my guest on a new Podcast that drops, as usual, at 9 pm ET.
Yours truly will head to Orlando this week to take in the NXT tapings at Full Sail University and then be a part of the Mick Foley Cheap Pops show along with @JCLayfield on Friday night at the NXT Arena.Tickets are going fast a www.me/LMJFs. I'm looking forward to seeing many old friends, the fans and watching the amazing, young talents perform in the ring on Thursday evening.
Some fans complaining about how Neville is being utilized but if he was driven down the fans throat they would spit him back up. There is a fine balance these days on how fan favorites are marketed and going the safer, more organic route appears to be best.
Seems like attorneys who work on contingency are spotlighting the wrestling biz these days. I'd be shocked if any of them made a dime on any of their law suits.
No one will be happier to be back in the USA than the large contingent of travelers who will be returning today from almost two weeks traveling the world for WWE. There's going to be lots of dark colored laundry to tend to.
To be clear, New Japan was pleased with our broadcasting work back in January at Wrestle Kingdom 9 and I'd love to do more work with them in the future if tht materializes. Nonetheless there are much larger fish to fry for them to address as it relates to doing more North American, etc PPV presentations than who will be announcing their show. I still enjoy broadcasting and hopeful to more in various genres in 2015.
I will begin writing more pieces for @FoxSports in the immediate future. Stay tuned for that and I will keep you apprised here and via Twitter @JRsBBQ plus on the Ross Repot. Fox and I finalized a new arrangement just last week.
Really enjoyed the @CACReunion this year in Vegas but steps must be made to shorten the banquet portion of the annual event. This is a wonderful organization that every wrestler and fan should be a member of and you can find out more about it at www.caulifloweralleyclub.org.
Stock up on JR's delicious products from wweshop.com and get your order delivered to your home, etc in record time. We want our family's products to be a part of your family's grilling experience. www.wweshop.com/jimross
