Mid South Wrestling, a locally owned sports entertainment company, is excited to announce today that a reality star will be a feature of this Saturday's event. The event will take place at the Herb Welch Wrestle Plex, located at 1827 Saint John Ave., with a 7:30 p.m. bell time.

Matt Riviera has appeared on Bravo Network's Millionaire Matchmaker and VH1's Millionaire Matchmaker. Riviera is an active wrestler for the National Wrestling Alliance and is the reigning NWA Western States Heritage Champion. Known as "The Loverboy", Riviera is excited about the event and defending his championship.

"I'm looking forward to coming to Dyersburg this Saturday," Riviera said in a recent interview with nwamidsouth.com. "I haven't wrestled in the area since I was just starting out in the wrestling business. Dyersburg loves its wrestling and I'm excited about catching up with the fans in the area again."

In addition to Riviera, former NWA Worlds Champion Rob Conway will be in action taking on local favorite 6'8" Gaylon Summers in the main event. Conway, was under contract with WWE for 7 years and is known as the "Iron Man".

Several other matches will take place with the NWA Mid South Wrestling Heavyweight Champion "Golden Boy" Greg Anthony, Max Loon, and several others.

The Herb Welch Wrestle Plex is a new venue to the area which hosts live wrestling every Saturday night, as well as a wrestling school throughout the week where aspiring wrestlers can learn their craft.

A meet and greet with Riviera, Conway, Summers, and Anthony will take place at the venue Friday, March 20 from 4-6 p.m. The first 100 kids to show up will receive a free grab bag, autographs will be available, and pictures may be taken. A live radio remote will host ticket giveaways and members of the Chamber of Commerce will be on hand to host the official ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 p.m.

Tickets are $5 and discounts are available to students and military. Kids 5 and under will be admitted free.
