NEWS
When WWE released ?The Best of Sting DVD? back in September, there was an error made on the back cover artwork. One of the photos was actually not Steve Borden (Sting) but rather Jeff Farmer, portraying the ?nWo Sting? character. WWE has now corrected the artwork, replacing the erroneous photo with one of Sting and Bret Hart. The re-printed copies are being shipped to stores.

According to "Busted Open Radio", Sting has signed a performer's contract. The details of how much money he is receiving hasn?t been released but the contract is for a total of six appearances on WWE TV and pay-per-view. This includes "Survivor Series" and ends at WrestleMania. One has to guess that one of his appearances will be at the "Royal Rumble". It seems that giving this contract, these final six appearances is Sting's last run culminating in a retirement match at WrestleMania. If you?re a fan of Sting, enjoy the times you see him, it may be his last as a worker.

As of around Thanksgiving, The Rock was not penciled into WWE?s plans for WrestleMania 31. The Rock has several movies lined up for next year and the speculation has been that his busy movie schedule will keep him from returning to WWE. There was some talk of doing The Rock vs. Triple H at WrestleMania 31 back in October when Rock returned to WWE TV for the Rusev segment on RAW and then the Triple H segment on SmackDown. However, WWE is now going with the idea of Triple H vs. Sting at the biggest show of the year because of the belief that The Rock won?t be working WrestleMania.

Tessa Blanchard got another WWE tryout last weekend at WWE's live events in the Carolinas. She also appeared as a Rosebud on last night's RAW. She is the daughter of Tully Blanchard and the stepdaughter of Magnum T. A.

After it was annnounced that CM Punk signed with Ultimate Fighting Championship, Jim Ross posted on Twitter "Congrats on @CMPunk signing apparently w/ @ufc is he going to fight? What weight? Will sell PPV's w/o question. Smart biz by @danawhite".

Mick Foley will be on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" on Thursday night, the same night Dwayne Johnson will be NBC's "The Tonight Show".

On the Invicta show Friday, announcer Mauro Ranallo noted that Leslie Smith, who got her ear split in two and it nearly fell off, on the UFC show in Mexico City, had become friends with Mick Foley. Her injury had been compared to Foley's losing of his hear in Germany and Yukon Eric's losing of his ear against Killer Kowalski in Montreal.

Variety reports that Dallas Page?s ?The Resurrection of Jake the Snake? documentary will be making its world premiere at The Slamdance Film Festival, which is an alternative to Sundance and runs from January 23rd through 29th in Park City, UT. The cast is listed as Jake Roberts, Dallas Page, Chris Jericho, Steve Austin and Adam Copeland (AKA Edge). The description of the documentary says ?Legendary wrestler Jake ?The Snake? Roberts charts his personal and professional comeback while battling crippling addictions.?

Bobby Eaton was in attendance for Mick Foley?s one-man show in St. Louis, MO last week. Foley invited Eaton on stage for part of the Q&A but Eaton declined.
