Beautiful day in Norman, Oklahoma as yours truly prepares to attend the Spike TV kickboxing event tonight to visit with old pal Mauro Ranallo and then the pivotal, Big 12 football game Saturday morning at 11 CT on @FoxSports1 pitting Oklahoma vs. Baylor here in Norman. Let's grill...

It's always a melancholy day when we close our pool but that day came today. I wish we could keep it open the year around but that's simply not feasible. One great thing about living here is that we get to experience the distinctive, four seasons provided by Mother Nature.

Had a great time in Houston this week attending a charity affair for the organization TEACH which was co-chaired by our wonderful friends Wallace and Dee Dee Marsh. Non of us can do too much to help children which is why I am so excited to be involved with Headlock on Hunger of which you will be soon hearing much more about.

I can't travel to Houston and not think about Paul Boesch's Houston Wrestling, all the Friday nights I spent at the Sam Houston Coliseum, WM17 and WM25.

The Current Ross Report Podcast with guest and HOFer JJ Dillon is spectacular and the feedback that we are getting is amazing on this show. JJ started out, after getting his college degree so that he would always have a plan B, as a commission referee and worked many WWWF bouts as a young man before breaking into the business in the territory days as a wrestler and then as a manager. JJ's stories of the territory experience are so educational and informative as are his stories of being in administration in the wrestling big including as assistant booker in the Crockett promotion, VP of Talent Relations in WWE, and as an executive in WCW,

Go out of your way to listen to this show available for free at podcastone.com and via iTunes.

Next week our Ross Report guest will be the brilliant @AlexDGreenfield former lead writer of WWE Smackdown whose stories are classic. I learned a great deal about my own WWE career from Greeny on this podcast especially the unique experiences of riding on the WWE corporate jet. Sir Alex holds NOTHING back and I just let him roll on one of the funniest and most controversial shows we've ever done on podcastone.com and iTunes. It drops this Tuesday night at 9 pm ET.

This week I am a guest on the Chael Sonnen podcast which can also be heard on podcastone.com and is getting excellent reviews. Chael is a natural with big time charisma and talent. He's make any pro wrestling or MMA company a ton of money in a variety of ways.

Next week I'm interviewing one of my favorite women when we talk to Lisa Marie Varon aka Victoria and Tara who's one of the best, female in ring performers I ever signed.

Online business is really picking up as many folks are ordering early to avoid any last minute shipping issues that can pop up. You can buy our products for North American delivery from http://www.wweshop.com and for delivery in the UK, Ireland and Europe visit http://www.americansoda.co.uk and from http://www.beyondtheropes.co.uk. JR's condiments make great holiday gifts and stocking stuffers.

Remember that you get a FREE, RINGSIDE w/ Jim Ross event shirt with each new shirt purchased from our friends at http://www.prowrestlingtees.com/jimross. Virtually every size imaginable is available and we ship the shirts ANYWHERE.

I read where the New Japan Pro Wrestling PPV promoted by Jeff Jarrett's new Global Force Wrestling company will be a FOUR HOUR EVENT and available on all major, PPV platforms from the Tokyo Dome. The event is set to run live in Tokyo from 4-8 pm on Saturday January 4 but don't ask me what time that is in the USA. I will be buying the PPV and DVR'ing it for viewing at a more opportune time and without reading the "Jardine's." I'm not even sure that reading the "Jardines's" aka the Spoilers would affect me wanting to watch the show.

I love JJ Dillon's Mt Rushmore of wrestlers and managers in the current Ross Report podcast and his personal favorite incarnation of the Horsemen. Subscribe via iTunes for FREE at iTunes or by clicking on to the subscription button at podcastone.com.

I saw a screener of the new, Iron Sheik film that's debuting soon and it is excellent and done in a very classy, high end production way. Great story telling and @TheRock and many others including yours truly are featured.

Just a FYI...Ireland is not a part of the UK. Come on, man!! :)

If Daniel Bryan is being used to promote WM31 locally in Santa Clara why wasn't his interaction with the world champion San Francisco Giants used on WWE or was it and I missed it? Great footage of exciting folks doing the 'YES' chant.

Happy to see Ivelisse on Lucha Underground as she was one of my favorites in FCW in Ta,pa back in the day while training for a WWE career. Tough, physical woman of which there are too few of in today's mat game. I wish her the best. I'm not sure what happened to hasten her departure from WWE but it likely had something to do with poor communication. She's got talent that's for sure.

Even though I am pulling for Luca Underground to be a rousing success, I am still not a fan of intergender wrestling. Mixed tag bouts are a different ball game but the intergender stuff is too much of a stretch of one's imagination unless every female is a true, badass like my favorite MMA star @RondaRousey.

WWE moving to Thursdays on SyFy in January isn't a surprise and I'd go so far as to predict that move will also see a new announce team introduced as well. Michael Cole and JBL, while both doing a fine job, are overexposed and that fact really stands out when the PPV events sound just like Monday Night RAW. Taking Cole and JBL off Smackdown will make them more special and make the PPV's sound fresher in my opinion.

Remember that every thing that you need to know about the Ross Report podcast, our advertisers, our relationship with Amazon, how to subscribe for FREE at iTunes, etc can be found at http://www.podcastone.com. We are grateful to all that support our efforts.

Let's go Oklahoma and welcome the Baylor Bears with a Slobber Knocker come Saturday morning at 11 CT on @FoxSports1. Look for the black hat on the OU sideline.

The Q&A's are updated here on the site at Ask JR.
