Storm Claims North American Title

The Empire reached its greatest heights in the NWA to date at NWA Texoma?s ?Wrestling Rewind? event in Sherman, Texas on Friday as Tim ?Perfect? Storm defeated Big Daddy Yum Yum to become the NWA North American Heavyweight Champion.

Storm, a former NWA Texoma Heavyweight and Tag Team Champion, had been chasing the championship ever since Big Daddy Yum Yum defeated the Tokyo Monster Kahagas for it at Texoma in May. The reign was Yum Yum?s second, having previously held the title from February to April 2013.

The victory gives the Empire its first major NWA championship and puts gold around the waists of all four members, joining the NWA Lone Star Tag Team titles of Matt Riviera and Greg Anthony and the NWA Lone Star Heavyweight title of Steve Anthony.
