What do you think of Bray Wyatt being a character baby face after being turned on by Harper and Rowan who then become managed by Jake Roberts who builds his own faction?
Harper is a star in the waiting and the key to Rowan achieving a high level of success is him showing more animation and personality in the ring and being able to master a promo.
Bo Dallas was the consummate, ivory snow baby face in NXT for a long, long time until the fans organically turned on him for being too goody-goody. The current incarnation of Bo Dallas isn't as organic as what made him an antagonist in NXT but I hope it will eventually work for the young man's sake. He's a good kid who works hard and is a natural athlete. Only time will tell if this presentation clicks and the timing inasmuch as how long the persona is left to evolve and/or to tweak is critical.
Brodus Clay always reminded me of the UWF version or the One Man Gang. Perhaps some day Brodus can see if my premonition actually is accurate. If Brodus can maintain a healthy, athletic weight so he can feed the comebacks approiately he has a shot at becoming a main event level heel IMO.
How many WWE talent cuts were essentially 'comedic' characters? It takes a special individual, terrific writing, and a little luck to be able to sell more marketable sizzle than to deliver more athletic steak.

#UFC174 card is made better because UFC using rankings as in their top ten in each weight division to market their fights. It's a tried and true methodology used in sports forever. For example, Rory MacDonald vs. Tyron Woodley is a pairing of #2 vs. #3 which makes that particular fight more intriguing. The fight is on PPV tonight (Saturday) and is not a star laden card on the surface but is the kind of line up that can be a legit sleeper. Plus, the Canadian crowd in Vancouver should be red hot.
Why can't pro wrestling utilize rankings? I assume the same reason they don't use time limits...it's too old school rasslin' in the eyes of some. SMH.
On Smackdown Friday night, Sheamus vs. Cesaro would have been a perfect setting for a time limit draw to extend their program. The time limit would have added a fresh, sense of urgency to their issue.
