Because Spoiler 2000 has asked for a match against Tim Storm at Insane Hardcore Wrestling Entertainment's June 8th event, he will not be taking the company's commissioner job. IHWE will be naming a new commissioner soon.

The Cauliflower Alley Club announced that former Freebird and current WWE agent Michael Hayes would be given the Lou Thesz Award at its banquet on June 4th at the Gold Coast Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The next Beyond The Ring special on the WWE Network will debut this coming Saturday night and will be the documentary portion of WWE?s ?For All Mankind: The Life and Career of Mick Foley? DVD.

Mick Foley appeared Sunday at 10am at the Lexington, KY Comic Con for an autograph show and at 2pm had a panel discussion with Big Van Vader on the 20th anniversary of his losing his ear. He also performed in Knoxville on Sunday at Side Splitters doing his comedy show.

With the official announcement of WWE inducting Mr. T this year, Scott Hall is expected to be the final name announced. At last word, Hall was still on the list of names to be inducted this year. WWE typically inducts 6 or 7 names each year. Confirmed for this year are Jake Roberts, The Ultimate Warrior, Lita, Paul Bearer, Carlos Colon, and Mr. T.

Soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer Jake ?The Snake? Roberts will be doing his own talk show followed by a Q&A session during WrestleMania week. Roberts will hold his show at the Jackson Brewery Bistro Bar in New Orleans, LA on Thursday, April 3rd, from 8:30pm to 10:30pm. That is the same day that Jim Ross is doing his "Ringside" show at the House of Blues also in New Orleans. General admission tickets are $40 while VIP tickets which includes premium seating, meet and greet with Jake prior to the show, a limited edition Hall of Fame 8x10, and a photo with him will cost $100. Bill Apter of 1wrestling.com spoke with 2014 WWE Hall of Famer Jake ?The Snake? Roberts last week and as of last Wednesday, doctors still didn?t know what type of cancer Jake has.

Dusty Rhodes is promoting a one-night event called Superstars of Wrestling for the Miami-Dade County Fair in Miami, FL on Friday, March 14th at 8pm. Wrestling is featured regularly at the Miami-Dade County Fair. Booked for the event is Carlito, Wes Brisco, Jesse Sorensen, former NXT star Kenneth Cameron, several local wrestlers, and Dusty himself. Admission to the wrestling event is free with the price of fair admission.

Jeff Jarrett noted on Twitter that he made progress on his new project last week and teased that he was in meetings for graphics, an new logo and merchandise. The latest word from within Jarrett?s camp is that while he?s making an announcement on April 7th, there likely won?t be a live event or TV tapings of any kind until late 2014. There have been rumors that Jarrett is working on some kind of reality show, something he and wife Karen Jarrett were interested in doing when they worked for TNA, but that?s not confirmed.

Jim Ross and Father Jason Sanderson have been added to the selection committee for the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Hall of Fame in Waterloo, IA. Gerald Brisco heads the committee.

The 2014 George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame induction class includes Rick Steiner, Scott Steiner, Wilbur Snyder (posthumously), Dallas Page (Frank Gotch Award), Larry Hennig (Lou Thesz Award), Randy Couture (George Tragos Award), and Larry Matysik (Jim Melby Award).

Over 200 people (only those invited allowed) were in Fort Worth, TX on Friday night for the Texas Wrestling Hall of Fame ceremonies. Honored were Stan Hansen, Terry Gordy, Gary Young, Gary Tool, Todd Hecht, Rick Manning, Khris Germany, Awesome Kong, Dusty Wolfe, Ray Evans, Matt Borne and Devastation Inc. The families of both Gordy and Borne were there, as were James Beard, Matt Riviera, Dr. Ken Ramey, Tim Storm, Bull Schmitt, Tim Storm, Talon, Jake O'Brien, and many others. The event was hosted by Dexter Hardaway.
