NEWS
Ric Flair is happy with the new Four Horseman DVD set, at least what he has seen of it. Flair is still upset, however, about the Wrestlemania snub, as he realizes his days as an active wrestler are dwindling down.

Some "Easter Eggs" on the much-talked about Four Horsemen DVD. On Disc 1, go to the Chapters section, click left twice on "Arn & Tully Leave", and you get an interview with Dusty Rhodes on them leaving. On Disc 1, go to the Chapters section and click left twice on "IV Horsemen 1996" to hear Ric Flair describe WCW in 1996. On Disc 1, go to the Extras section, click left twice on "Ric Flair's Wildest Night" for a Ric Flair promo. On Disc 1, go to the Extras section, click left twice on "IV Horseman interviews" for another Horseman promo. On Disc 2, go to the Extras section and click left twice on "J.J.'s ring" for Dillon's explanation of his famous ring.

The Undertaker vs. Batista Wrestlemania winning streak vs. the World Title match was the idea of Dusty Rhodes and writer Alex Greenfield. Vince McMahon gave the green light to the match back in September of last year. The title switch at Wrestlemania was a popular move backstage.

Writers Alex Greenfield and Dusty Rhodes first pitched the idea of Mr. Kennedy winning the Wrestlemania Money in the Bank ladder match back in August.

Publishers Weekly lists Mick Foley's "Hardcore Diaries" at #13 on the list of best selling non-fiction books.

Stephanie McMahon's title has been changed to Executive Vice President of Creative. Her former official title was Director of Creative Writing. Brian Gerwitz, the head writer for Raw, and Smackdown head writer Michael Hayes (the former Freebird) have become Vice Presidents of Creative.

Despite his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame on March 31st, there is still talk of replacing Jim Ross with Michael Cole on RAW. As previously noted, J. R.'s current contract expires this fall.

About 4,000 fans attended the hall of fame ceremony. There was a chant of "wifebeater" directed at Steve Austin, and "colon cancer is a slobberknocker" towards Jim Ross.

Jim Ross announced in his blog last week that he is opening "J.R.?s Family Bar-B-Q Restaurant" in Norman, OK in June 2007.

At Memphis Wrestling's April 12th press conference, Hulk Hogan stated that he had a premonition the proposed match with Jerry Lawler would be changed as a result of WWE?s interference. Hogan said that Lawler told him he would quit WWE if they insisted he didn?t wrestle The Hulkster on April 27th. Hogan said WWE?s interference was a personal shot against him. WWE insisting that NBC/Universal talent can?t appear on ?Hogan?s Knows Best? since its on VH-1 is ridiculous since Hogan has been filmed at WWE?s events, and Vince McMahon himself appeared in a recent episode that included on going negotiations between Hogan and WWE. Hogan said his upcoming match with Paul Wight (The Big Show) will be the match that fans should have seen at Wrestlemania. Hogan stated that ?Big Show? is a slave name, and he?ll now be known by his real name, Paul Wight. Wight is tight with Hogan, and actually turned down WWE?s most recent non-talent contract to be available for any future Hogan related wrestling opportunities. Some reports have said that Wight has lost 60 pounds since leaving WWE.

As a result of the Lawler-Hogan fall out, WWE talent will no longer be able to work for the Memphis promotion. Due to that announcement, WWE pulled The World's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin) and The Boogeyman from the April 14th Memphis Wrestling event in Tunica, MS. There are also reports that WWE didn't pull Jerry Lawler from the match with Hulk Hogan on April 27th because of the VH-1 taping, but rather that Vince McMahon didn't want a high profile match taking place with Hogan.

Jeff Jarrett's wife, has been battling cancer for many years. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Jarrett?s wife contracted pneumonia and wound up with a collapsed lung as her cancer treatment has killed off many of her antibodies. Oklafan would like to extend our very best wishes to her and Jeff.

Adrian Street was scheduled for the April 14th NWA Wrestle Birmingham event in Graysville, AL but cancelled due to the horrible driving condition between his home in Florida and the Birmingham area.

The Australian movie "Lovestruck: Wrestling's No. 1 fan" about Sue Chuter is getting strong reviews all over Australia. The movie includes old footage of Jim Barnett's World Championship Wrestling, Shawn Michaels giving Chuter an autograph, Sue going to Japan to see Cactus Jack vs. Terry Funk, an interview with Jerry Lawler who is portrayed as Sue's friend and footage of her attending Wrestlemania 12. The Sydney Morning Herald today gave it ***1/2. It was described as a "Legitimized chick flick for men" noting men are bawling their eyes out at the end.

In the new Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie, the character Meatwad at one point as a joke says he wants to look just like Wahoo McDaniel.

Scotty Charisma and his wife Kathy to be featured in a national fitness magazine this summer. You can see the pictures from the photoshoot at http://scottycharisma.com/Photoshoot.htm
