A Howling Success! Wolves Target #1 Contendership

A Howling Success! Wolves Target #1 Contendership

Posted: Nov 16th 2013 By: CMBurnham

Tag team wrestling is certainly heating up in MSWA. Current MSWA Mid-South & IZW Tag Team Champions What Wrestling Should Be will have to be on their guard as currently there appear to be 3 contender tag teams vying for those titles.

Current SWCW Tag Team Champions The Syndicate would love to dethrone the men who defeated them for the titles and begin their fourth title run.

UWE Tag Team Champions The K. C. Wolves have also made some inroads into MSWA and have to be considered serious contenders to any tag team titles they target.

And now there is a new tag team on the scene as Angel Camacho introduced his cousin Roberto Camacho to the MSWA crowd on November 3rd. They immediately made it clear that they wanted a title opportunity and Angel even went so far as to say they were the only tag team that deserved an opportunity at the titles. That comment immediately drew the attention of The Syndicate, who stormed to the ring and reminded the Camachos that they had been a tag team for 8 years, longer than any other tag team in the state. They also had a rematch clause in their contract, so the first opportunity should go to them, and if they have to kick the Camachos' asses, that would just be a bonus.

Things then became very interesting as The K. C. Wolves made their return to MSWA after several weeks of absence. Luke Langley informed the other two teams that in Missouri, they show and don't tell. Now that they are back, they plan to show why they deserve to be MSWA Tag Team Champions.

Seeing an opportunity for to resolve the situation, MSWA owner Bad Boy arrived and set up a Triple Threat Match to determine the #1 contender to the titles. Each team saw an opportunity and displayed all the skill that they were known for, knowing this could be the only chance they had to earn a title shot. Towards the end of the match, Scott Sanders and Roberto Camacho fought to the outside. Angel then simultaneously splashed Langley and Shawn Sanders, but when he tried to clothesline Graham Bell out of the ring, Bell yanked the top rope down and Camacho plummeted over. The Wolves then regrouped and connected with a double Superkick on Shawn Sanders for the win.

The Wolves are not just posing a threat to WWSB in MSWA. Luke Langley scored his first singles victory in IZW over Jordan Jacobs on October 12th. The Wolves have made it perfectly clear that they intend to dethrone Jacobs and Jermaine Johnson and perhaps become the first Triple Crown tag team champions since Texas, Inc.
