Sinclair Broadcast Group, the parent company for Ring of Honor, announced earlier this week that they have entered into a definitive agreement to purchase the stock of Perpetual Corporation and the equity interest of Charleston Television, LLC, both owned and controlled by the Allbritton family, for an aggregate purchase price of $985 million. Among the channels in the purchase is KTUL channel 8 in Tulsa. To read the press release, click here.

WWE's "Saturday Morning Slam" will be returning in September for its second season on CW and Mick Foley will be back as commissioner.

FremantleMedia, through their website WWEDVD.co.uk, released the full match listing for the upcoming Goldberg DVD and Blu-Ray which will be entitled "Goldberg: The Ultimate Collection" and released on October 8th. The DVD version will contain three discs while the Blu-Ray version will contain two and both will have 30 full matches from Goldberg's WCW and short WWE career. This will be just matches and there was no sit-down interview recorded with Goldberg. The match listing is as follows:

Keiji Muto (The Great Muta) is looking to exchange talent from his newly formed Wrestle-1 group in Japan and TNA. Muto met with TNA officials on July 30th in Nashville, TN. Muto?s new group has announced its debut show for September 8th at the Tokyo Dome City Hall, followed by September 15th in Nagoya, September 21st in Kyoto, and September 22nd in Ishikawa. Oklafan extends its condolences to the friends and family of Chuck Conley who passed away on July 26th at the age of 75. Conley, who was an original member of the Scufflin' Hillbillies tag team, competed from the 1960's until a car accident forced him into retirement in the early 1970's.
