Nothing Keeps Sadat Removed From The Action

Nothing Keeps Sadat Removed From The Action

Posted: Jun 17th 2013 By: CMBurnham

Despite still being officially fired from SWCW, Kareem Sadat certainly finds ways to make lots of influence at the shows.

SWCW owner L. J. McDaniels fired Sadat at the last SWCW event on May 25th. But nothing McDaniels did prevented Sadat from purchasing a ticket and sitting as a fan in the seats. And that was all he did until the match between Kevin James Sanchez and the returning Maniac Mike. Sanchez already had enough problems to worry about with Bill Lebeaux as the referee continued to further his personal issues with Sanchez as he officiated the match. It was clear that Lebeaux was making the pinfall counts slower for Sanchez than for Mike. When Sanchez finally put Mike down for the 3-count, it was obvious that Lebeaux was forced to count 3 against his wishes. But after the match, the B. M. F. executed a 3-on-1 attack on Sanchez. And that brought Sadat out of his chair and into the ring as he made a beeline for McDaniels. And in a surprise return, Rick Garrett, who had not been present at an SWCW event in months, made his way down to help The Brothers of Hardcore exact some revenge on McDaniels.

Revenge always comes with a cost and that cost was made apparent after SWCW Champion Rick Russo successfully defended his title against Shane Sanchez. McDaniels had been wearing the SWCW Hardcore title as something of a trophy since Sadat's retirement. Sadat challenged McDaniels to put the belt on the line and officially crown a new champion. McDaniels agreed and after some assistance from Russo, he walked away the new Hardcore Champion.

Sadat was a huge part of last year's Crisstopher Crow Memorial Show. It remains to be seen if he will be allowed to have any part to play in the event this year on June 29th.
