Outlaw Ushers In A New Order For MSWA

Outlaw Ushers In A New Order For MSWA

Posted: Apr 15th 2013 By: CMBurnham

June 4, 2011.

Many Oklahoma wrestling fans believed that was the last time they would ever see Outlaw in a wrestling ring as he lost to Kareem Sadat by DQ. Shortly after that, Outlaw disappeared and seemed to fade away into the mists of former wrestlers.

Periodically, he reappeared. When MSWA reopened in April, 2012, Outlaw made a surprise appearance, claiming that he was in contact with 3rd Rail and that Rail had been banned by the Oklahoma Athletic Commission for acts of extreme violence in Texas. This rant made no sense as Texas is not under the jurisdiction of the Oklahoma Athletic Commission, but Outlaw claimed to be trying to reinstate Rail. This never happened and again, Outlaw faded away.

At the end of 2012, Outlaw reappeared to be inducted into the SWCW Hall of Fame, but made no indication that he was intent on coming back to the ring. And when Outlaw showed up to honour his mentor Tom Jones at Jones' farewell celebration in February, he spoke glowingly of "Mr. Ebony" and seemed thrilled to be in the company of many of his contemporaries, basking in the adulation of the crowd for one last time.

Apparently, all that was a fallicy as Outlaw appeared on April 7 at the MSWA event and, after grabbing the microphone, proceeded to destroy any appreciation the fans had for him. First he mocked Tom Jones' physical condition. Then he proclaimed himself as the only living legend in Oklahoma. His delusions went to grandiose states as he claimed that HE made the Oklahoma Athletic Commission and therefore didn't need a license.

Outlaw then revealed his new protege, Angel Camacho. A 400+lb. behemoth of a man who came to the ring and awaited an opponent as Outlaw issued an open challenge. Jason Kirby answered that challenge, but was no match for "The Puerto Rican Assassin". But Kirby never backed down and both men eventually battled to the outside and were counted out.

Throughout Camacho's match, Outlaw continued to proclaim the arrival of the New Order, although exactly what or who that is is still unknown.
