IZW Champion attacks WWE SD Champion!!

IZW Champion attacks WWE SD Champion!!

Posted: Nov 1st 2005 By: oklastaff

IZW Champion Big Van Vader was one of the cronies that Johnathon Coachman hired to attack WWE SD World Champion Batista on RAW last night. Coach had planned on using Vader, along with Goldust, as a n insurance policy against Coach's expected opponent, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. However, WWE owner Vince McMahon came out and announced that Austin had been involved in an "auto accident" and would not be able to appear that night or at the Taboo Tuesday PPV the following night.

McMahon then brought out SD Superstar Funaki to challenge Coach, but Coach had Goldust dispose of Funaki. Coach then issued a challenge to any member of the Smackdown locker room for the PPV and Batista?s music played. Batista came out and got in the ring with Coach, when Goldust attacked the World Champion. While Coach and Goldust were beating on Batista, Vader?s music hit and he joined in, making it a 3-on-1 attack and leaving Batista in the ring.

Vader, along with Goldust, will be in Coach?s corner for the Taboo Tuesday PPV tonight. The same stipulations apply for the Batista/Coach match as did when Austin was involved. Online voters are allowed to pick from a verbal debate, an arm-wrestling match and a streetfight. One change is that Jim Ross? future is no longer at stake. McMahon declared Ross permanently fired as a result of Austin?s foreiture last night.

Vader had signed a WWE Legends contract earlier this year. It is not known whether he will be competing on a more regular basis for the WWE and, if so, how that will affect his appearances for IZW and MSWA.
