Brandon Bishop interviewed by SK Fulton

When I asked Brandon Bishop for this interview, I was told that I had to go down to Texas to get it. This was conducted after an ACW show in Wichita Falls Texas after Brandon Bishop was in a hellish Barbwire and Thumbtack match aginst Se7en. S. Fulton - Mr. Brandon Bishop.

Brandon Bishop - That?s me.

S.F. - I guess the first thing I want to ask you about, and I won?t have believed it unless I saw it with my own eyes, but you are just so over here, the fans just love you, but you go up north, and everyone just hates your guts.

B.B. - That?s because Oklahoma fans suck ass. Can you print that? Suck ass.

S.F. - Sure, I guess so.

B.B.- And Texas fans rule.

S.F. - Alright, Texas fans rule. I understand that ACW actually got it?s start in Oklahoma.

B.B. - Yeah, in Lawton, but Lawton sucks ass too.

S.F. - So what was it, just couldn?t cut it up in Oklahoma?

B.B. - It wasn?t a matter of cutting it, it was a matter of improving our surroundings.

S.F. - I see. It?s odd, because for your dedication to the Texas fans, from what I saw tonight, they were just calling for blood, that?s it.

B.B. - And they got some didn?t they?

S.F. - Yes, they sure did, but won?t you rather have more athleticism, good matches,than just violent bloodshed?

B.B. - I would rather do whatever shakes the walls with this crowd going nuts. In ACW we?ve got guys who can hang with anybody, but you know.

S.F. - I wanted to ask you about some of the wrestlers, a few of them actually come here from Oklahoma, X-Cal for instance, quite successful up there, what do you think of him?

B.B. - X-Cal is somewhere between man and rodent, but other than that, you haven?t seen the best from him yet, and I?m looking forward to kicking his ass sometime real soon.

S.F. - Let me ask you about Brandon Groom, you?ve been riding his ass for the past few weeks in SRPW...

B.B. - You might want to rephrase that, because I would never ride his ass, Summer Rain is who?s ass I?m riding.

S.F. - Ok, I?m sorry, is this something personal that you have against Brandon Groom, or are you just after his title?

B.B. - It all started real simple, SRPW though it would be funny to put two Brandons against each other because obviously they?re creative level isn?t too high. (In fake hillbilly voice) Darr.. we got two Brandons let?s put um up against each other... and it just kind of took off from there. Groom does have the SRPW Heavyweight Title, I?m there, so obviously I want it, and I?m going to play my little mind games until I get it. In two weeks I will get it.

S.F. - Let?s say you do get that title, are you going to keep it in Oklahoma, or are you going to bring it back here, and we?re never going to see again?

B.B.- ACW and SRPW are sister promotions, we do a lot of work together, Brandon Groom has been down here, with his title, we get along down here for so reason. Dexter Hardaway, Luc Lapointe, they?re good friends of mine, they?ve been down here. Basically, we?re sister promotions, we recognize each others titles. I don?t know, I might just take it down here and keep it.

S.F.- That wouldn?t be very good for SRPW or their fans to have the belt here.

B.B. - Well, you know how I feel about the fans, and you know how I feel about their commissioner, Sam the slithering idiot, so I really don?t care. So, maybe, if they want their title back, they can come down here and get it. It?s only a four hour drive or so.

S.F. - Yeah, I know, I made the trip today.

B.B. - It?s worth the price of tolls and gas. You see Brandon Groom is a cookie cutter wrestler. There?s a million Brandon Grooms, and that?s going to be the death of wrestling if you ask me. There?s no more Mick Foleys, there?s no more Roddy Pipers, there?s just cookie cutter. It?s all the same thing, the fans have nothing to care about. They aren?t given anything to care about. The new workers don?t portray anything that the wrestling fans can hold sacred, which is why WWE house shows are bringing in less than a thousand people. Which is why independents are going to come up and steal the spotlight. I?m 30 years old, 230 pounds, I?m not in great shape, but it?s basically the old story of David and Goliath, the little guys is going to come up and prove a point against the Brandon Grooms, and that?s all I have to say about that, and Summer Rain, I?m banging her.

S.F. - So your goal isn?t to ultimately make to the WWE?

B.B. - I don?t care about the WWE. I?d rather just go and hang out in the locker room or something. I?d rather conquer all the independent leagues. There?s a lot of them too, they all call me, they all love me.

S.F. - Well, then what are you doing here?

B.B. - Well, this is my league. Payton Scott runs it right now, but it?s still my league, and I don?t want to leave these Texas fans.

S.F. - How do you think the situation with your match tonight is going to resolve itself, there was no clear winner or loser?

B.B. - Well, I guess we?ll all find out in two weeks, and hopefully, that will bring the people back out to find out as well. Plus we?ve got asylumwrestling.com. Seven and I have been bitter enemies into best friends and back again, I?m sure there?s a little heat now after this match, but I?m sure we?ll get over it,we?ll hit the nearest titty bar after this whole night?s over.
