WWE RAW 3-5
Tod Grisham interviewed Ric Flair and Carlito. He said there's been tension but now there's respect. Tonight, it's Money in the Bank. Flair says he has more passion. He's going to win tonight, go to Wrestlemania and win the World Title for the 17th time. Carlito says a couple of weeks ago that might have been trie, but now he has something to prove. He's going to do whatever he has to to go to Wrestlemania because no one thinks he can win a World Title. Flair says he's going to win because he can, gives a few "Whoooo"s and they leave.
Chris Masters def. Jim Duggan in a Masterlock Challenge.
Mick Foley came to the ring with Vince McMahon. He said it's ironic that 7 months ago he was kissing McMahon's ass and now McMahon is kissing Foley's because he thinks Foley is the special referee for the "Battle of the Billionaires" match. McMahon says there must be something that he can do for Foley. Foley says McMahon could give him he job back. McMahon agrees. Foley wants an opportunity to plug his new book. McMahon agrees. Foley says he ran up a large room service bill including a Christy Canyon double feature and he wants McMahon to make that disappear. McMahon says if Foley does something for him, he'll do something for Foley. McMahon then announces Foley as the special referee for the Bobby Lashely/Umaga match at Wrestlemania. Foley stops and says there must be some misunderstanding. He is a special referee, but not at Wrestlemania. He'll be the referee at a rib-eating contest between Charles Barkely and the Phoenix Suns gorilla mascot at his restaurant in Phoenix, AZ (which gets him the cheap pop). McMahon kicks Foley out of the ring.
Mick Foley was seen reading a passage about Steve Austin from his new book, "Hardcore Diaries" to the Phoenix gorilla as they left the building, passing Ron Simmons who could only look on and say, "Damn!"
Ric Flair and Carlito (w/ Torrie Wilson) wrestled to a No-Contest due to outside interference from the Great Kahli, who destroyed both men, then took the mic and said he wanted Kane.
NWA-TNA iMPACT 3-8
Mike Tenay introduced Hector Guerrero. Guerrero said he's humbled by the introduction. He said it's a privelege to be part of the Guerrero family. He's inspired by his father Gory and his brother Eddie. He then addressesd the hispanic audience in Spanish. Tenay then presented him with a plaque on behalf of the Hispanic Legacy Association. Abyss then came out. He approached So Cal Val, who handed him the plaque that was to be awarded to Guerrero. Abyss threw that to the side, then gave So Cal Val a Black Hole Slam.
Jim Cornette's office was filled with different wrestlers, all wanting something. Cornette quickly tried to settle the issues at hand. He made a double bullrope match between James Storm & Jacquie Moore and Petey Williams & Gail Kim. He told Chris Sabin that his NWA World X Division Title match against Jerry Lynn would be a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match. He turned to Bob Backlund and said that Backlund could not personally referee the Austin Starr vs. Senshi match, but he made the match a submission match where the only way to win was by using the Cross-Face Chicken Wing. Backlund said the plebians would be thrilled. Christy Hemme then came in and said she wanted a match for her team against the Voodoo Kin Mafia. Cornette seemed surprised, saying he knew she had a pair, but not team. She refused to reveal who her team were. Cornette ssiad she wasn't going to pull one over on him and said she could have her match.
A. J. Styles interfered in the match between Scott Steiner, Tomko & NWA World Champion Christian Cage and Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe & Rhino. He tried to connect with Rhino, but Rhino threw A. J. out of the ring, then chased him up and onto the Elevation X structure. A. J. escaped as they came down, but Rhino was ambushed. Later, Abyss interefered, causing Cage's team to disqualified. Shortly after, the lights went out and Sting appeared first over one entrance ramp, then over another and finally in the ring, where he and Abyss slugged it out as the show closed.
