Ric Flair Returned To WWE Last Night At Philadelphia Monday Night RAW

Ric Flair Returned To WWE Last Night At Philadelphia Monday Night RAW

Posted: Dec 18th 2012 By: CMBurnham

In what started out as a rather slow day after a PPV RAW, it became anything but...as Ric Flair made what appears to be his return to WWE here in Philadelphia, as presenter in the Slammy Awards segment for the "Superstar of the Year".

John Cena then said thee is only one superstar here, then gave Flair his Suoerstar of the Award. This was followed by CM Punk coming out with Paul Heyman, screaming how he should haev been Superstar of the Year; going head to head on the mike with Flair.

Flair then went into the ring, after Punk said he could beat him with one leg. Punk broke a crutch over Punk's back, then Flair thumbed Punk in the eye, then put Paul Heyman in the figure-four.

This was then followed by The Shield coming to the ring and challenging Flair, followed by Daniel Bryan and Kane coming out. The Shield isolated Flair, and were ready to do the three man power bomb through a table; until Ryback came out and cleaned house.

The three segment arc finaly ended with Kane, Bryan and
Ryback hoisting Flair to their shoulders.

Flair made a few references to Philadelphia being a special city to him. Those of us who were there for the numerous classic Flair matches in Philadelphia...and the equally classic NWA, WCW, and WWE Flair post-match celebrations at the Marriott and Hilton can vouch for.
