ProWrestling.net reports that WWE is advertising Jerry Lawler for tonight's SmackDown taping in Memphis, TN. He has also been advertised in local radio spots promoting the SmackDown taping.

On October 9th, on what would have been Eddie Guerrero's 45th birthday, Chavo Guerrero, Sr., Eddie's brother, and WWE Diva Vickie Guerrero, Eddie's widow, had a Twitter war. Chavo posted on Twitter "@ExcuseMeWWE @mexwarrior tell ur followers how u cut off the grandmother of ur children with a letter after eddie passed her son". Vickie responded "Anything to do with @chavoclassic has no importance to me or ever has. @mexwarrior (Chavo Guerrero Jr.) is respected and loved by my daughters and I." Chavo reponded back "I will write wt I want if u don?t like dn?t read as far as the injection guerrero the JUdge is in heaven"

Ann Russo-Gordon resigned from WWE citing burnout and health issues. She was the point person in the company?s rehab program, working underneath John Laurinaitis. Nicole Dorazio, who also worked in talent relations for a decade or longer, as the assistant to both Jim Ross and Laurinaitis, was just let go. No reasons have been talked about.

In the most recent issue of WWE Magazine, Ryback discusses the often made comparisons between himself and former WCW and WWE Champion,Bill Goldberg. Some of the remarks would make one think that Ryback could be goading the formerly undefeated phenom into a match at some point in the future. "People see a big guy with a shaved head who?s intense, and they draw those comparisons," said Ryback. "I will say this: Goldberg did this for the money. He was never a fan of wrestling. I do this because I have a passion for it, and that?s the biggest difference between Goldberg and me. I?m not here to make five million dollars and then walk away. I?m here for life. And, I firmly believe that I?m much better than he was in the ring. He was great, and I was a fan of his when I was younger. But, I feel I?m a better athlete and wrestler than Goldberg ever was, and people are going to see that over time."

Goldberg responded on Twitter "Better athlete? Come on dude wake up?.. Case closed! RT @ItsEvanSlater: Ryback is a better athlete than @Goldberg? I don?t remember seeing Ryback play in the NFL. #ShowSomeRespect."

Regarding Ric Flair returning to WWE, they still won?t touch him until the TNA lawsuit is settled

Recent reports state that Ric Flair is currently dating Wendy Barlow, who portrayed the role of Fifi the Maid back in WCW when Flair had his segment "A Flair For The Gold".

Sting recently appeared on KSAZ-TV's "Phoenix Live" promoting TNA's "Bound for Glory" pay-per-view event. He was wearing a denim shirt and pants, a ball cap, but was not wearing any facepaint. You can see a photo of his appearance by clicking here.

In an interview with the Phoenix News Times to promote TNA's Hall of Fame and "Bound For Glory" pay-per-view, Sting talked about the rumors of him going to WWE and if that would ever happen. "I don?t know, especially now that I will be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame. They may just turn the page at that point. I have no idea," Sting said. Last year, Sting was close to appearing at WrestleMania in one of the last few dream matches remaining, a match against the Undertaker. He said that he hasn?t spoken to the Undertaker in over 20 years ? the last time ?Taker was in WCW ? but he always wanted to have ?one real cool thing? with him. Sting didn?t completely shut down the door on working with WWE, giving the "never say never" answer which many wrestlers love to give. He did say however that when he contacted WWE to get permission to use some footage they own of him for personal appearances, the company was very accommodating. "There have been times over the years where I wanted to have some footage to use for other personal things in life and I don?t have it. Although I did call once and they were great. They gave me whatever I needed and it was nice," Sting said.

TNA inducted Sting into its Hall of Fame on Saturday in a celebration and dinner which was held at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix, AZ. TNA went all out for the fans attending the show being seated at a banquet table hosted by a current TNA Wrestling Superstar or Knockout. Guest speakers that helped induct Sting into the TNA Hall of Fame included Hulk Hogan, A. J. Styles, Mike Tenay, Lex Luger, and TNA President Dixie Carter. Unlike the WWE Hall of Fame where several former Superstars and Divas are inducted in one night, Sting is the lone inductee during the event. The TNA Hall of Fame is expected to be a part of the "Bound For Glory" weekend going forward.

Ring of Honor taped a physical angle explaining the departure as a television authority figure of Jim Cornette at Saturday night's show in Rahway, NJ. Jay Lethal threw Cornette into a table and he took a head over heels bump. In storyline, Lethal then a closed door meeting with Joe Koff. This lead to Lethal vs. Davey Richards at the ROH show this past Saturday in Mississauaga, Ontario, Canada. You can see the video by clicking here.

Bobby Eaton was hospitalized over the weekend with heart failure and pneumonia. He is expected to be released in a few days.

Rob Feinstein from RF Video spoke of a fight that broke out at The Legends Of The Ring Convention last Saturday in Monroe NJ. Apparently Vader had been in a foul mood all day long, and started making some rude comments to fans. Harley Race took exception to this and had told Vader to stop being rude to the very people that are paying money to meet him. Some words were exchanged, and Race, who is now crippled, took a shot and punched Vader. Vader tried to retaliate and ended up striking a promoter instead.

The Barbarian is reportedly promoting a Nigerian tour in December featuring a number of former WWE stars including Shelton Benjamin, MVP, Carlito, Matt Hardy, and Val Venis. Apparently most of said names have been falsely advertised with Benjamin blasting on Twitter, "None of the former WWE guys and not even Slam Shady are involved with that show."
MVP has also said he has no affiliation with the group.
