Kelly Demands Revenge, Unleashes Vicious Side In MSWA

In his short time competing in Oklahoma, "Machine Gun" Kyle Kelly has found a modicum of success. He and Russ Rogers are major force in ComPro. He's recently entered IZW where he's found himself at odds against O'Malley. But perhaps his most prominent run has been in MSWA where he was the man who Rage Logan defeated to fill the vacant MSWA Mid-South Title.

Kelly's confrontations with the members of Nemesis continued as he attempted to claim the MSWA Title, which would have been a HUGE accomplishment for a rookie. Then, an unexpected returnee hit the mix as 3rd Rail was brought in by Stevie Caballero and Kelly fell down the rankings just a little bit.

But when Impact, Inc. came back to IZW, everything changed. Rage Logan was shelved indefinitely. 3rd Rail and Caballero disappeared. And the MSWA Title picture began to revolve around new champion Double D and former champion Johnny Z.

Kelly is not one to take being shoved to the back burner well. As a member of The Bullies, Kelly is well accustomed to stepping up and taking what he wants. And that's exactly what he did on September 16th. After an MSWA Mid-South Tag Team Championship match between Impact, Inc. and The Syndicate, Jermaine Johnson & Jordan Jacobs, along with MSWA Commissioner Erica, decided to exact some post-match punishment on the twin challengers. This brought Nemesis to the ring and IZW Impact Division Champion Damien Morte, along with IZW Tag Team Champion Damon Windsor, quickly drove the championship team out of the ring.

Once the Syndicate were able to get to their feet, Kyle Kelly burst through the curtain. This even caught Impact, Inc. by surprise as they cut a wide swath around the big man. Kelly made his way to the ring and addressed the Nemesis members in front of him. He said that, while the fans may have forgiven them for their actions when MSWA started running shows again, he didn't. He had issues he wanted to resolve and demanded a match. Morte had already competed that afternoon, but Windsor was fresh and ready so the match was signed.

Fans thought this might simply be a good way to resolve a personal matter, but it was quickly apparent that MSWA fans were seeing a new Kyle Kelly. No clean wrestling. No appeals to the crowd for support. Instead, Kelly fought with a stone-faced determination and used his size and power to claim as much of an advantage as he could. While he was certainly the bigger man in terms of weight, he isn't taller than Windsor and the experience level is quite different. Thus when Windsor was able to connect with a Black Hole Slam, the up-and-comer was unable to rally and Nemesis walked away victorious.

But with this side of Kelly unleashed, MSWA Mid-South Champion Double D now has yet another vicious threat to add to the line behind Johnny Z and Bobby Starr. Given the path he's on now, it seems inevitable that Kelly will be laying claim to his first gold soon, perhaps before the end of the year.
