Rockwell Is Victim Of Hagen's One-Year Revenge Ploy

October 21, 2011 - Tim Rockwell successfully defends the ComPro Title against Dutch Hagen and as a result, Hagen gets fired from ComPro.

September 7, 2012 - Almost one year later, Hagen gets his revenge.

Hagen came extremely close to getting his revenge in July, when his manager, Richard Pierce, attempted to interfere in the ComPro Title match between Rockwell & Brandon Walker. If Pierce had been a fraction of a second faster in his efforts to yank referee Mark Wilson out of the ring, the end results might have been very different. But that didn't end up being the case and Rockwell's title reign continued on.

Walker's frustrations grew as well. The pressure of having to deal with Rockwell not only in ComPro, but also in UWE, were almost overwhelming. And with both men being champions and considering themselves the best the area had to offer, it seemed inevitable that something would have to give.

Rockwell was the hot topic of conversation when the ComPro event began this past Friday night. ComPro commissioner Mike Iles came out and announced to the crowd that he intended to have a #1 contender's match to determine who would face Rockwell for the title at the 6th anniversary show on November 17. Hagen & Pierce arrived, but interestingly, they did not seem concerned with Rockwell's title. According to Hagen, they just wanted to "break Rockwell in half". The same couldn't be said about Walker, who joined an already overstuffed ring and made it very clear to everyone that he wanted his ComPro Title back. In a shocking move, he stated for all to hear that he would willingly put his ComPro career on the line in order to get a title shot.

Iles wanted nothing to do with Walker's offer, but ComPro owner Mike Two dashed to the ring and reminded Iles that if this match was made, they'd be done with Walker forever if he lost. Overriding the commissioner, Mike Two granted the match and it was set for the main event.

Iles forced Hagen into a match with Richie Adams and the battle of former ComPro Champions didn't turn out well for the man with newly-won crowd support. Interference from his former tag team partner Goldeneye allowed for a win by Hagen, but a post-match attack was driven off by Rockwell, who clearly wanted to get his hands on Hagen as well.

When it came time for the main event, the two men, who have faced each other in so many cities around the state, held nothing back. Knowing each other as well as they both do, it seemed as if the match would simply come down to one man making a mistake in the ring. But both men were on their game and neither could find that one weakness that was so important. And then, Hagen & Pierce appeared. They made no effort to interfere, but their distraction by standing at ringside was enough to take Rockwell's mind off the game. Walker schoolboyed Rockwell and put his feet on the ropes. None of this was seen by referee Chance Snodgrass, who counted to three, and a new champion was crowned.

But the real revelation came in the moments after the match as Rockwell was attacked and reminded of how his actions had cost Hagen months off his ComPro career. In return, Hagen dropped Tim headfirst on his former championship belt, knocking him unconscious and inflicting an as-yet-unknown amount of damage. Walker and Hagen never acknowledged each other, but clearly there were plans in place between the two to accomplish this foul deed.

Walker now stands atop two federations. Hagen has gained an amount of revenge for what was cost to him a year ago. And Tim Rockwell appears to be the victim of a conspiracy whose execution has created a brand new playing field in ComPro.
