IZW Continues to Change the Wrestling World!
Coming on the heels of last week?s huge announcement that starting October 6, Impact Zone Wrestling (IZW) in conjunction with the GFL Combat Sports Network (GFL.tv) will feature a monthly television program on The Comcast Network (TCN), Comcast SportsNet (CSN) Philadelphia and Mid-Atlantic, comes the news that IZW will be providing even more cutting-edge content for the largest cable operator in the United States. IZW has now extended its reach into four new markets throughout the country.
Along with TCN, CSN Philadelphia and CSN Washington which combined serve the Pennsylvania and Mid-Atlantic areas, four additional regions will have access to this exclusive series on their local CSN channel. CSN Bay Area, CSN Chicago, CSN New England and CSN Northwest will now join the aforementioned stations to increase the total number of households who have access to IZW through Comcast from 7.4 million to 21.9 million.
In this watershed moment for the Lawton, Oklahoma based promotion, IZW will now be able to be viewed on Comcast from coast to coast as well as hitting major markets in the Midwest. This extended television reach will allow IZW to leave a huge imprint on a substantial cross-section of wrestling fans throughout the country. If you?ve wanted hard hitting, athletic wrestling combined with dramatic storytelling then IZW will be a godsend. The Comcast deal makes IZW only the fourth professional wrestling company in America with this kind of national presence.
Comcast subscribers in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, California, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Oregon and Washington will be impacted by this groundbreaking deal. Air times will be in primetime from 8-10 PM EST Saturday evening on TCN, with replays on Sunday evening from 8-10 PM EST on Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia and 11:30 PM ? 1:30 AM EST on CSN Washington. The four new CSN affiliates will broadcast IZW at various times throughout the week of IZW?s initial broadcast and the best way to stay dialed in to start times in these new markets is to check each station?s weekly TV lineup listed below.
