P.I.N.K.'s NOT Their Favourite Colour

Trailer Park Trash certainly have had the fans on their side since the creation of AACW, but the one constant thorn poking at them has been the team known as P.I.N.K. Nation, Beau Dalton & Luc Lapointe. And this past Saturday, at the inaugural XUW show, the Nation seem to have outwitted TPT.

TPT were the first AACW Tag Team Champions and held those belts for 3 months before losing them to Luc & Beau, who were then members of Tommy D's Family faction. Despite repeated challenges to regain the gold, TPT kept coming up short and eventually they got sidetracked into a brief feud with members of Corporate America, while the Family eventually lost the tag team titles to AWOL & Overdose, members of the House of Strange. And while Beau & Luc would reunite with former P.I.N.K. Nation members Ray Martinez & Paul Linam, TPT stayed strong together, feeling it was just a matter of time before they could retake the gold.

Both teams showed up for the first Xtreme Underground Wrestling event last Saturday and their issues had not cooled in any way. TPT knew that Beau & Luc now had a numbers superiority, so they recruited Jessi Jersey to come to ringside with them to try and even things up. On the positive side for TPT, Ray Martinez & Paul Linam did not make it to the show, but on the negative side, Beau & Luc decided that a quick sneak attack would even things out for them, so then blindsided K. C. & J. C. on the entrance ramp and then continued to put the beating on them in the ring as the match went on. Apparently, beating on the twins wasn't enough, as Beau began to chase Jessi Jersey around the ring towards the end of the match, eventually forcing her into the ring after she had grabbed a chair for protection. Beau would not back off, so Jessi was faced with no choice but to hit Beau with the chair, just in time for referee J. T. Hamilton to turn around and see this, resulting in TPT getting DQd for outside interference. Jessi looked distraught, but Luc & Beau were quite happy as she had done their work for them and gotten them the win. And Luc was quick to take advantage of Jessi's innocence, offering to shake her hand as a thank you, but then kicking her in the stoumach and giving her a Cool Hand Bomb, followed by a Curb Stomp before leaving the ring with Beau.

These actions only served to infuriate TPT and during the main event Gauntlet Battle Royal that night to determine the #1 contender to the vacant XUW Title, TPT targeted P.I.N.K. Nation as soon as they got in the ring. Once again, Jessi brought her chair down to ringside, but this time she was careful not to use it. Both teams were eliminated from the match by being thrown over the top rope, which probably suited them fine as they seem more interested in tearing into each other rather than winning any gold, tag team or singles.

At the end of the show, TPT came out and layed out an open challenge for TPT to meet them again at the next XUW event. P.I.N.K. Nation has yet to answer that challenge. Are TPT properly prepared for this upcoming confrontation? Word is that P.I.N.K. Nation will be represented by even greater numbers at the next show. Ray Martinez & Paul Linam have made their presence known in OKC and Jack Dalton & Bobby Dalton are no strangers to the scene. And what about Lily McKenzie? She has made no effort to rejoin her former P.I.N.K. comrades since becoming AACW Women's Champion, but could she just be lulling Jessi into a false sense of security? With Rick Garrett focused on Luscious Larry and the XUW Title, TPT could certainly use some backup in their upcoming confrontation with the pink-clad rulebreakers. It just seems to be a matter of determining who they can rely on.
