Since 2003, Mid States Wrestling has been a staple of family entertainment in northwest Arkansas, most notably in Harrison. After a successful show in Miami, Oklahoma in February and another always successful show in Harrison on May 12th, Mid-States Wrestling returns home to the Indoor Expo Building on the Northwest Arkansas District Fairgrounds to celebrate their 9th anniversary on June 9th.
The 9th anniversary show will be filled with current and past stars of Mid States Wrestling, and several matches have already been announced:
-Heavyweight Champion Gary Gram puts his title on the line against Dustin Heritage, who has put his hair on the line. We will either see a new champion, or a bald Dustin.
-In May, those in attendance saw long time fan favorite Jake Boulder turn his back on them and his tag team partner S. L. U. G. G. Now S. L. U. G. G. gets his revenge as he will face Boulder.
-Stephen E has never been defeated in his Mid-States Wrestling career and he is putting that streak on the line against his former prot?g?, the mysterious man from Parts Unknown, Doomsday.
-Harrison's own Jason Jones has been out of action for several months following knee surgery, but now he steps back in the ring and back into action.
-In the main event, will be a 20 Man Battle Royal featuring past and present Mid-States Wrestling stars.
-Plus, we honor two members of the Mid-States Wrestling family that passed away in the last year. "The Real Deal" Adrian Steel and "Pimptight" Kevin Lovejones will be inducted into the Mid-States Wrestling Hall of Fame.
Also scheduled to appear is IWI Champion The Canadian Red Devil, Southern Tag Team Champions The Spine Busters (Tim Rockwell & Cast-Iron Cothern), "Mr. Saturday Night" Michael Barry, "The Eliminator" Jim Fallon, Big Bubba Hall, Mitch Baxter, "The Vulture" Kenny Campbell, The El Matadors (Uno & Dos), Joe Jones (no relation), "The Kingpin" Mike Iles, and many more!!!
