Jim Ross returned to announcing for WWE as he took part in multiple weeks of NXT taping last week. He confirmed on Twitter that he would be the lead voice on NXT going forward.

Mick Foley has been told by doctors to cut back on using the computer due to history of concussions. Foley posted on Twitter: "trying to avoid going on the computer very much. Computer screens and camera flahes have been bothering my eyes lately."

Ric Flair?s daughter, Ashley Flair-Johnson, is training to be a professional wrestler. She is actually starting this summer under a WWE developmental deal with Florida Championship Wrestling, rather than signing a TNA developmental contract and starting with Ohio Valley Wrestling.

On last Monday?s edition of ESPN's "SportsNation", when the subject of Metta World Peace of the Los Angeles Lakers not shaking hands with James Harden of the Oklahoma City Thunder was brought up, one of the announcers talked about Mr. Peace playing heel similar to the Iron Sheik and how you'd never see the Sheik shake hands with a babyface. Former WWE announcer Jonathan Coachman, who now works for ESPN and was one of the show's commentators, laughed at the reference and said, "We like to call it predetermined."

A story on Muhammad Ali's involvement with pro wrestling over the years is available at HeartPunchWrestling.Blogspot.com. Everyone always talks about Ali learning from Gorgeous George. The week in question was a show in Las Vegas where George vs. Fred Blassie was the main event that sold out the same building Ali drew only a few hundred people at for a real fight. Ali's interview style is so much more patterned about Blassie than George that some have been skeptical, although Ali was at the show and people say he was backstage with George. When Blassie was put together with Ali for Japanese and American purposes as his manager and Ali saw him, he immediately thought he was Gorgeous George that he learned his interviews from. In 1976, Ali publicly claimed he learned interviews by watching Blassie, after always saying George before that time. After 1976, Ali went back to saying George while Blassie always claimed it was him. And Blassie's friends always spoke that it was a given it was Blassie.

Oklafan congratulates BMG who recently surpassed 6 months as UWF06 Tag Team Champions. D Money & K-Ro defeated Naturally Canadian (Scott Trent & The Canadian Red Devil) to become the 1st ever champions on November 20, 2011 at a show in Ardmore. They added Montego Seeka to the team a few weeks later. Any two man combination of the team is able to defend the titles.

Oklafan congratulates Ted DiBiase on the birth of his grandson Tate, who was born on May 15th weighing 6 pounds 9 ounces. The proud father is WWE superstar Ted DiBiase, Jr.

Prior to his grandson being born, Ted DiBiase posted on Twitter "I?m at the hospital waiting for my grandson to be born. I am so excited! Didn?t think anything could top my boys being born. I was wrong!!"
