Jim Ross to Announce in New WWE '13 Video Game

Jim Ross to Announce in New WWE '13 Video Game

Posted: Apr 4th 2012 By: mikeiles

At the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania XXVIII this past Sunday, wrestling fans received a bonus, as Jim Ross walked down that aisle and commentated the Hell in a Cell Match between The Undertaker and Triple H. Most wrestling fans have missed Ross' professionalism and his iconic match calling that have made him the greatest announcer in professional wrestling history.

Although Ross only called the one match, wrestling fans will be able to hear him call matches in another form of entertainment.

According to JustPushStart.com, Jim Ross worked on the new WWE '13 video game this past Monday, so wrestling fans will have an extra incentive to purchase the game.

With Ross absent from the last two installments, Michael Cole and Jerry "The King Lawler" were the featured announcers in WWE '12 and WWE RAW vs. Smackdown 2011.

Hearing Ross and Lawler together again will provide some great nostalgia for wrestling fans, and fans of the WWE video-game series.

JustPushStart commented that there was no word on whether Michael Cole will be featured in the game as well. But for most wrestling fans, not listening to Michael Cole will be a non-issue.

There is no official word on the game's release date, but it will most likely be released sometime this fall.
