WrestleMania 28: Beth Phoenix & Eve Will Crush Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos
Posted: Mar 28th 2012 By: mikeiles
WrestleMania 28 is going to be one of the biggest shows of 2012, with its soon-to-be immortalized match between John Cena and The Rock.
It's a perfect time for anyone lucky enough to be on the card to give everything they have and outshine the competition.
The Divas also have a date with destiny on April 1. WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix will team up with the sultry Eve Torres to take on the lovely Kelly Kelly and Extra's Maria Menounos. It will be time to show the world that the ladies can also deliver the goods.
Even if her title is not up for grabs, the Glamazon will spare no expense as she tears through her competition and proves once and for all that she is the dominant force in this company. Eve Torres is being put under the spotlight as of late, so she must get her priorities straight, her gear in motion and assist Beth Phoenix in the best way possible.
The result of this will spell disaster for the lovely fan favorite ladies, who are out-powered, out-wrestled and out of their minds if they think they can win.
Beth Phoenix and Eve Torres will crush the life out of their opponents because...
The "Faces" Are at a Disadvantage
The news came out recently that Maria Menounos broke two ribs while rehearsing her Dancing with the Stars routine. That does not bode well for the match, but since it has not been canceled at present time, one can assume it is still green-lit.
Even if she is cleared to compete, Maria Menounos cannot hope to match the Glamazon in single combat and will have to rely heavily on Kelly Kelly for support.
Since the "heels" are smart competitors, it is easy to assume Eve Torres can take care of the blond bombshell all on her own, which means the worst possible outcome for the Extra figurehead.
Beth Phoenix will eat her up.
The Glamazon Is the Head Bitch Around Here
At the Tribute to the Troops in December, Maria Menounos and her friends won the battle. It humiliated the Divas Champion and since then, she has been on a rampage by defeating all her competition.
It is now time for her to stand tall in victory at the biggest show of the year. Roll-ups and surprise pins will not succeed this time around. Beth Phoenix is out to prove to the world that there is no one prepared for her kind of power.
Perhaps this match will serve to put all female competitors on notice: there is only one queen of the ring. The Divas division is at a low point right now, and the best thing to do would be to allow their champion to come out unscathed and victorious.
Good things come to those who wait.
Eve Is Under the Spotlight
Since turning to the dark side a few months ago, Eve Torres has been on a rocket ride to the top...almost.
She still plays Zack Ryder for a fool and whether you like it of not, she knows she is beautiful and can get anything she wants. Everything happens for a reason in WWE, and putting Eve Torres on the map serves to prepare for great things to come.
An example? Beth Phoenix, though still labeled as a villain, gets enormous cheers from the fans when she comes out. This match is proof. It is perhaps a sign that they will soon meet in the ring. Should Eve ever pin the Glamazon, she would be the first woman to claim the Divas title on three separate occasions.
Eve Torres as a villain holding the championship leaves room for amazing competition sent her way via Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Layla and someday, hopefully, Kharma.
This beautiful woman is not finished with her plans yet...
WWE Booking 101 Secures a Beth/Eve Win
When it comes to being predictable, WWE is usually right on the money.
Eve lost her match to Kelly Kelly on Monday and Maria Menounos is injured...that's a perfect way to allow for Phoenix and Torres to sweep in and make mincemeat of their opponents.
While predictable booking can be worrisome (Cody Rhodes losing his title), it should be something to celebrate when watching fan favorite Divas win the go-home match before the big fight. It means the company will finally do something right by letting the champion win and look strong.
It is the only salvageable thing to do when it comes to this match. There should have been a title match instead, but this is what was chosen. So many readers are convinced that because a celebrity is involved, they should be the winners. Now, fate is stepping in to say: "Uh-huh, it ain't going to be like that!"
Despite it being a less-than-absolute match, the Divas will not disappoint this coming Sunday.
Ladies, Please Make an Example on Sunday
The match is set:
WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix and Eve Torres vs. Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos
The place to be on April 1:
WrestleMania XXVIII
Fans be warned, anything can happen in WWE, so going to refresh your beers and nacho plates while this match occurs may cause you to miss out on potential surprise appearances. It may not be for the title, but the champion will be there and she will deliver the merchandise.
Ladies, prepare yourselves for the most important night of your lives so far. WrestleMania is the biggest show in sports entertainment, and you even have Madonna backing you up (Girl Gone Wild is the official theme song), so make her and the company take notice.
It will be all upwards from there. Beth and Eve will crush?no, annihilate?K2 and the Extra girl.
