Ultimate Warrior Coming To Poughkeepsie For NEW At Civic Center

As was announced on Tuesday on various social media, including my Facebook page, Warrior (formerly known as The Ultimate Warrior) will be making an appearance at Northeast Wrestling?s Wrestlefest 16 at Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie on March 23.

Warrior will be signing autographs for Collector?s Realm (44 Raymond Ave., Poughkeepsie) at the show and will be doing an in-ring appearance that could include some physicality. The pre-show meet-and-greet is at 5:30 p.m. and bell time is 8 p.m.

It?s extremely rare for the former WWE champion to make public appearances at any event, let alone a pro wrestling show in the Northeast, so it?s very interesting that NEW president Michael Lombardi locked him up for the big card at the big arena on Market Street.

The rest of the card features John Hennigan (formerly John Morrison) vs. Finlay, Melina vs. Velvet Sky, Matt Hardy (with Reby Sky) vs. Matt Taven (with Kacey Ray), a 6-man Grab for the Gold Ladder Match, Jerry ?The King? Lawler, Tommy Dreamer, NEW champion Brian Anthony and probably a bunch of stuff I don?t even know about!
