Jim Ross commented on Twitter about a possible return to WWE for Brock Lesnar: "Brock Lesnar to WWE rumors rampant. Always said IF Brock returns it would be 4 a 1 off appearance. Big IF. Now?s NOT the time." Later he posted "IF Lesnar does 1 off WWE appearance it could be easily built for a year. Don?t ever expect Lesnar 2 b a regular. Hates travel."

Wes Brisco, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Gerald Brisco, is looking at continuing his wrestling career even though he was released by WWE. The plan is for him to work independents and then try and get back to Florida Championship Wrestling with more experience at different styles.

There is a documentary on the life of Welsh wrestling legend Orig Williams that right now is only available in the United Kingdom. The 50-minute documentary includes interviews with Fit Finlay and Mason Ryan and covers the history of wrestling in Wales in the 70's and 80's. The documentary includes clips of their television show, "Reslo", including appearances on the show by Davey Boy Smith, Vader, and William Regal. It noted that one of his goals was to train a Welsh wrestler to become an international name and when he passed way, WWE had signed Ryan. The website that posted clips of the documentary has since taken them down.

The web site ComicBookResources.com said that it looks like CM Punk and artist Jill Thompson may work together on a comic book. Thompson was the illustrator for a children's book that Mick Foley wrote many years ago.

On "Red Eye," they talked about the top moments on the show for the year and noted Mick Foley scolding Chris Barron for a song he wrote, mistakenly thinking Barron, a gay GOP activist, was Chris Barron, the lead singer of the Spin Doctors.

Ric Flair is featured in the Americana trading cards from Panini. The set consists of celebrities from the past, and few if any other athletes are involved. The card mentions that there is dispute over how many world titles he really won, and noted one of his robes in the National Museum of American History.

A lot of newspapers Thursday did stories about notable deaths for the year 2011. Both Yahoo.com and the Chicago Sun-Times in listing notable sports deaths, mentioned Randy Savage. The Sydney Morning Herald, listed Killer Karl Kox as one of the most notable deaths of the year, not limited to just sports.

Antwan Fields of BleacherReport.com wrote a story entitled "WCW History: 15 Guys Who Never Really Got a Chance to Run with the Ball". Listed at #1 was The Wall. Others on the list included Bam Bam Bigelow at #15 and Erik Watts at #11. You can read the entire story by clicking here.

During halftime of ESPN's "Monday Night Football" on December 26th, the studio crew gave out their "C'mon, Man!" of the year awards. Chris Berman gave his to the Joe Kapp/Angelo Mosca altercation at November's Canadian Football League alumni dinner. The segment included the video.

Barry Windham is still hospitalized in Florida following his heart attack/stroke in October. He?s doing much better now and has been walking around his hospital room following a recent knee surgery, due to an injury sustained during the attack. The family is hoping he can continue to convalesce at home in the near future

J. B. Pain was injured last weekend during a Flag Match. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.

Kyle Everlast, Robbie Awesome, and Jake O'Brien were all injured during their respective matches on December 31st. Oklafan wishes them all a speedy recovery.
