WWE News: Beth Phoenix and Natalya Teasing Potential Feud with Kharma
Posted: Dec 21st 2011 By: mikeiles
The WWE Divas division is paper thin at the moment, and there are very few feuds that wrestling fans want to see out of the women of the WWE.
It?s just that most of the active Divas aren?t great in the ring, and the two best wrestlers under contract to the company?Beth Phoenix and Natalya?are currently working as a duo. Thus, there are little-to-no money matchups we could see in the near future.
Or are there?
From SEScoops.com:
Divas champion Beth Phoenix mentioned Kharma in a tweet last night after TLC. Phoenix wrote:
"I?m not afraid of anyone or anything. I don?t believe in Kharma. I believe in me, myself, and I."
Natalya has since chimed in with the following:
"@TheBethPhoenix ? Not even @kharma can break us. Pinup strong forever."
Please, oh please, let this happen.
I?m not sure how far along Kharma is in her pregnancy or when she will be able to return to the ring, but a feud involving Kharma, Beth and Natalya is the one saving grace for the WWE Divas division.
Kharma?s debut earlier in 2011 was the most exciting thing to happen to women?s wrestling in the WWE in years, but obviously, her ill-timed pregnancy put a huge damper on the Divas division for the remainder of the year. It was like someone breathed some life into the Divas division only to instantly suck it right back out.
Now, however, the teases by Beth and Natalya have me really excited about a potentially great Divas feud in 2012.
I know a lot of fans have completely given up hope on the Divas division, but I haven?t. I honestly think that the addition of Kharma could be just what the WWE needs to make women?s wrestling a relevant part of the company?s product once again.
Whether WWE officials think so or not, there are fans out there who want to see quality women?s wrestling just as much as they want to see quality wrestling from the boys.
Bring Kharma back whenever she?s ready, have her feud with Beth and Natalya and then we?ll be one step closer to turning the Divas division around for good.
And, hopefully, that can happen sooner rather than later.
